This blonde haired guy, should I ask for his name? Wouldn't that be rude to him? I'm not sure…
Only one way to find out! Let's see if I ask
"Kaen, we're in a part together right?"
This girl cut me off just when I was about to ask.
I breath in deeply keeping my composure straight and said "yes I believe so, hopefully we do well together. Oh yes I forgot to ask what is your name? sorry it seems that I have forgotten it"
Wow, so this is what it feels like to talk to another person other than my sister at school. It kind of feels a bit intimidating if I rather say. I can almost tell by heart that my face is most certainly dishevelled from the start of this conversation.
"yeah, of course you wouldn't know after all I didn't tell you yet…"
"haha, I g-guess you didn't… yet..." why is this so frightening…
"My name is lisha!" she exclaimed dramatically.
Lisha, a good name if I'd have anything to say about it, it just fits in with her personality. Soft eyes, a rather small nose along with a chubby pouting face to go on the side. The overall look of person whose naturally very caring towards others.
Bright pinkish hair but barely shown due to the covered over muddy brown hoody with white stripes by the lining on top. The hood comes down to her neck side which is sewed to her armour and loops behind her shoulders all the way to her waist where it's attached to two circular designed emblems.
The design of the emblems is interesting too, shapes of some animals I suppose? I can't really tell from a distance, some protective gear for today I take it.
Apart from that, the emblem really complements the other gear. Light leather armour from the chest to the waist with an exclusion of the left side, which has a metal plate in a diamond shape strapped in along together with the light armour.
From the waist down to her shoes, was fully kitted brownish white light gear armour, along with various pouches and compartments for holding on to gadgets and so.
And finally her weapon, strapped on the left side of her waist, what seemed to be a sword but after looking at it closely was just a dagger that's longer than the standard. Maybe more accomplished towards magic than with swords?"
"it's good to make your acquaintance, Lisha." I told her remarkably!
"acquaintance?" lowering her head and lifting her right hand to her chin, as if she was symbolising deep thought.
she looked puzzled by the word I said to her? Don't tell me she doesn't even view me as an acquaintance to the least. I'm I that low without even realising it?
After thinking for a bit, she looked at me and was ready to say something else "kaen…!"
But unfortunately was quickly shoved aside by the fuming grunt behind her, which I had completely forgotten about…
"listen KID, we know you can't use magic at all, let alone fight. You're practically useless in this dungeon, so I'll be taking charge from here on out. Do you have a problem with that?" His face and body approached my own, angered and disgusted probably by the mere sight of me. It's because of something else as well, but I probably wouldn't say it unless it was absolutely true.
"l-lisha! Are you ok?" But I couldn't just answer him and not check up on lisha who was behind his huge body.
"I'm ok kaen! I didn't get hurt" obviously lying, at least she had the armour on, from where I could see over the grunts shoulders, I saw a couple others helping her get up.
"Did you hear me, do you a PROBLEM with that?" impatiently cutting out my remaining view of sight towards lisha.
"…fine, have it your way" easily enough to anger me quite a bit, not only did he not care about if he had hurt lisha but also demanding unreasonably on top it, and yet I couldn't do anything about it but agree.
A final scoff at my face, he begins to turn around and start walking towards the obviously shaken lisha.
After approaching, he shouts at her telling "DON'T WORRY, HE WON'T BOTHER YOU ANYMORE. I'LL PROTECT YOU"
I just looked on, noticing as every word that came out of his mouth so did the glares of all who were around us turn towards myself…
I didn't expect to say the least, surprised more than ever…but…
I had to ask one question to him.
"hey…" I said softly.
"heyy..." louder than before but no reaction.
"HEYY!!!" screaming at the top of my lungs at him. He turns around looking at me in disbelief.
"Tell me, one last thing" I told him in a tone that I had no idea I had possessed. Aggressive.
"oh, what could it be KAEN?" his no less than mine.
"Tell me, your name... what is it?" my eyes filled with intensity and a smile that couldn't be more sardonic.
"my name? is that it? Hahaha!" he went on laughing while I looked at him with no fear for myself"
"fine I supposed you should know what it is, my name is…"
Walking away from myself and lisha, people gathered around him as he did, trying to get the full scope of what just happened I suppose.
And lisha, just stood by the side as everything went down, I wouldn't blame her either. It wasn't her fault that my name had been tainted even more. It seems like she has neither the courage or strength to look up to absolute power. Even right now, I bet she wants to say something to me, whether she apologises for what just happened or whether she believes that the latter was in the just for the accusation…
Whatever it is, I know she won't tell it to me now, because as I keep looking at her and everyone around me, her trembling will not stop as so will the glares continue onwards.
"Roem casstuer…" softly mumbling to myself.
Casstuer, one of the many major families in leuvras.
One day, you will be served by my hand or another, and when that day comes, when you are finally bested and beaten to the ground, the one who shall…
shall be smiling in the end…
