The door was closed so I had used my spare key to open the door, and the loud laugher coming out from the kitchen made me know that my workers weren't asleep. I wonder why.
I managed to walk calmly to the door, making sure to avoid movements and to see what was going on. To my greatest surprise, they sat on chairs in about half a circle around the table with a bowl of fruit salad each.
No one noticed I was eavesdropping on them, and they all seemed to enjoy one another's company as they spoke about everything yet nothing.
Then, their discussion drifted to me.
"Our, boss is a very gentleman, his kindness knows no bounds," one girl let out.
Her friends quickly accepted.
To hear my employees talk good about me was a great sight. In fact, just watching them talk about me was enough to make me go happy.
