"Hey Zen, are you really want to stay by my side? It's not too late to think over your choice after all, hahaha....," said a young handsome man giggling.
Randolph felt the morning air blow and the morning sun hit his face. Shortly after, when the debuff effect that hit Randolph touched 0 seconds, he opened his eyes. Immediately, the memory of the battle and all the events made his body shake hard again.
"Hey...hey calm down, you just woke up a sec ago. Don't push your body"
Randolph's gaze turned to the owner of that voice. In front of Randolph stood a man in his late 30s. He's felt a bit dizzy and limp. But, his curiousness climb high.
"Who are you? Where is this? How did I get here?"
In an instant, Randolph immediately bombarded the man with several questions. He doesn't care about his condition at all. That man looked surprised but then he let out a faint smile.
"My name's dr. Leywin. I've been taking care of the three of you since all of you were discovered. This is Pranvere Town, a port city bordering the Norinveld sea, which is on the Lumaville continent. A few days ago, the border guards found the three of you lying not far from the Pranvere Outer Outpost. Both of your friends are fine, only you have been unconscious for quite a while."
Randolph's brain was processing faster. To his knowledge, Lumaville was a human continent and was located far north of from Itzbomos continent and required about two months of a road trip, not to mention crossing the sea of Norinveld which was divided between the Itzbomos continent and the Lumaville continent which was famous for its Seabeasts. There was no way they could reach this human continent this fast and safely like this.
"Then where are they now? How long I've been unconscious?"
The man once again answered Randolph's follow-up question.
"I heard that's they have experience and both of them have basic combat from your neighborhood. So, that's why I give a recommendation for both of them to go to the guild at the center of the city and try to become a mercenary. As for you, how long you've been unconscious, I thought today is the fifth day."
Randolph was surprised to hear dr. Leywin explanation. Almost a week is not a short time to be unconscious.
"Kreek..."
A wooden door opened and two boys appeared. They're very familiar to Randolph. Those boys trotted over Randolph who had come to his senses
"Hey...he...you're awake. How about your body?" asked Urigo worriedly.
At the same time, Welf idly tried to check Randolph's whole body and that action made him feel ticklish. Suddenly, Randolph's eyes looked strangely to both of them.
"What are you two wearing? Where did you two get the equipment?"
Randolph felt unfamiliar with the clothes and equipment worn by his best friends.
"It seems your friend here is fine. He seems to be asking a lot of questions. If you need help, you can look for me in my room. Oh, and one more thing you can use this building until you find a place to stay," replied dr. Leywin calmly.
(Those three boys nod their heads in unison.)
Then Welf and Urigo explain that they decided to try to become a mercenary to get money for lives here and they're currently still in training.
"Hey...hey Randolph...do you know what happened while we were unconscious? Did you know that all of our equipment was destroyed by that guy's attack?," Welf groaned in annoyance.
"I thought both of us died by Yultong attacks. But, when I opened my eyes, i was already here with both of you. It's strange," said Urigo.
Randolph feels guilty and says that he doesn't know anything about what happened to the three of them at all.
While patting Randolph on his shoulders, Urigo told him something. "Looks like we have to start something new here, we don't know how long it will take those pursuers to find out where we are. But what is clear..."
"We have to get stronger," continued Randolph who suddenly cut off Urigo's words and then clenched his fists and clenched his jaw tightly.

dr. Leywin walked leisurely towards his room. However, his calm expression suddenly changed in an instant when he opened his office.
"Have you been waiting too long?"
In the other corner of the room, there was a snow-white woman's skin with medium-length-layered dark brown hair. That woman was also wearing quite tight clothes. She wearing a white shirt combined with black leather pants, a pair of gloves, and a pair of matching boots of the same color. On her right and left waist, there are two gold-colored pistols that make her stand out. This woman is a guild master located in Pranvere Town. She is one of the few owners of the rare class, Gunner/Gunmaster.
"No...I just arrived a few minutes ago. What do you think? Do they look suspicious? I can't find the identities of all of them at all"
That woman looks has an angry expression on her face even though she doesn't show her anger.
"Calm down Beatrix. I'm sure all of them come from an area located at the far end of Lumaville that doesn't have a guild connection. You know yourself that those boys' expressions and behavior look like they've never set their foot in a big city like this. If they're coming from the Svolvord continent, your elite intel already found it long ago. Besides, I'm sure Svolvord wouldn't hire someone without magic & physical abilities like the boy who was unconscious."
Beatrix was looking so surprised and then she gave a suspicious look to dr.Leywin.
"What do you mean by that?," ask her worriedly.
"That's a young boy who conscious is not the chosen like us. He's just an ordinary villager," continued dr. Leywin calm.
