Chapter 9 - Chapter 9 Absurd Story

Randolph walked hurriedly. In fact, he barely paid attention to his surroundings. Luckily, when he was about to pass Pranvere Town West Outpost, those outposts was quiet.

As soon as he was out of the border, he started running towards the forest. Right at the mouth of the forest, a person dressed in black and wearing a black mask was seen standing in front of Randolph.

"You're a very lively young man. This place isn't for a beginner like you. Eh, not even for someone who is below a beginner, who is called a loser. Isn't that right, The Dragon, Griffith Mason?"

Randolph choked and was dumbfounded at those figures' words. His body didn't stop shaking.

"Who..are...you?! How do you know that name?! Are you the mastermind behind why I reincarnated into this world?!"

That figure walked up to Randolph. A moment later he removed the hood that covered his head and the mask that covered his face.

"You..!! You're the person in my dreams. You're the one who always comes all the time. What is the meaning of all this?! Explain bastard!"

Randolph gripping that man's clothes. His neck muscles tightened and his eyes glared.

"Not me though, I'm not behind all of your bad luck. You were reincarnated in this world. You were forced to be reborn by what you call God in your world. In this world, many earthlings ended up coming here. Either reincarnated or forced into directly like me by those who are commonly called the Seven Heavenly Virtues. The chosen people of Earth will receive the assistance of a guide system directed by the Voice Of The Worlds, a system created by the Seven Heavenly Virtues."

That's man words made Randolph do not understand what to do. All he knew now, the man in front of him and himself were fellow earth creatures. Someone who is forced to live in an unknown world like himself.

"Then what is the purpose of the Seven Heavenly Virtues attracting earthlings here? Then why did my system suddenly restart and almost all of my skills were locked?!"

"Do you know that there is no God here? God has died here. Therefore, their loyal followers, the Angels, are trying to resurrect God by collecting hundreds or even thousands of Holy Fragments that belong to humans on earth. They are also the mastermind behind the creation of the Seven Heavenly Virtues. You can imagine how many humans were sacrificed on earth and had to be forced into this world. Do you know why your system is locked?! Because you are an error system. You don't belong in this world"

That man's words didn't make any sense to Randolph, but for some reason, he still listened to the statement quietly.

"Therefore, those systems will make you disappear from this world! Voice Of The World creating an algorithm that makes it seem as if you are always in bad luck! Your mother was killed! You were being hunted by your village's knights! Even you are someone weaker than a training dummy"

All those words made Randolph speechless. Anger, disappointment, and sadness mixed into one. He didn't think that Voice of the World thought sending Randolph to this world was a mistake.

"Then what should I do?!," shout Randolph angrily.

"Definitely, opposing them is the main answer. If you have the will to live in this world and survive in this world in your own way, I can help you. Tomorrow morning someone will pick you up right at the gates of Pranvere Town West Outpost. Just follow his guides. But maybe you will be separated from your two friends for a while"

The man pulled back his hood and put his mask back on. He left Randolph who was still standing still right at the mouth of the forest.

"You are very manipulative Shadow, I'm not sure it's a true story. Are you sure about that kid, Shadow? What if he doesn't fit our expectations?," said Doc, who had been watching Randolph and Shadow from afar all this time.

While tapping Doc's shoulder, Shadow gave a reply. "Sometimes we really have to give someone a lot of support. Don't worry, I'm pretty sure he'll be a great pawn"

Randolph returns to dr. Leywin home with unsteady steps. It turned out that everything that happened to him was beyond common sense.

"System error? I was forced to be reborn only to be killed again?"

"Fuck..."

He had no other choice. If that was true, then the only way to survive was to follow the suggestion of that masked man.

But he also wondered why this man understood this world so well. Does he also have a tragedy in this world or this man has a secret on his sleeves? These thoughts made Randolph sink to the point where he didn't even realize he had opened the door to dr. Leywin home.

dr. Leywin, Welf, and Urigo sat on chairs in the dining room, they were having dinner.

"Hey Randolph, where have you been all day?," snapped Welf a little annoyed.

Urigo pulled Welf by the collar "Could you be a little more sensitive?"

Immediately Welf remembered what had happened to Randolph at the guild earlier.

"Come on... come here Randolph, I've made dinner for you. Hurry up and eat and rest. I'm sure a lot has happened to you today. You look very tired," interrupted dr. Leywin with his usual calm charm.

Randolph was a little surprised to hear dr. Leywin. But there is no more thought than that. He only thought that dr. Leywin was only being polite and considerate of to three of them.

When the dinner ended, dr. Leywin summoned Randolph to have a one-on-one talk with him.

"Is there anything I can help you with? You seem to have a lot on your mind"

"Hhhhh...."

Only a heavy sigh escaped from Randolph's mouth.

"I don't know where to start this story"

Calmly dr. Leywin replied, "I don't know how serious your problem is. But that doesn't mean you will give up before you start. Aren't you still young? What could be holding you back? Isn't life full of challenges? No matter how tough your problems are. You will surely find a solution."

"Spell Mental Boost for 10 min. Target: Randolph "

dr. Leywin patted Randolph's left chest a few times while saying those encouraging words. Randolph felt calmer but he also felt more motivated. A meaningful smile appeared on Dr Leywin's face.
