Chapter 36 - Chapter 36 Fake Scenario

"Patter..."

That morning that suddenly rained heavily at the Alamove. It was as if the rain had fallen to erase the traces of the battle between the knights, mercenaries and demons.

The royal soldiers combed all the locations of these battles, including the place where Andromalius and Michael met.

At that location, nothing strange was found for the knights and even the royal soldiers who came to the courtyard. Only a body was seen lying on the ground in the yard.

Randolph wasn't on the grounds. However, he was lying in the building where Gorg was last seen.

In that room also all the enslaved people were seen. However, all of the slaves were in an unconscious state due to an unknown spell.

In contrast to the rest of the bodies that were covered in wounds and blood, Randolph's body looked so clean, that one could even judge that this sixteen-year-old boy was just sound asleep.

It had been a while since Shadow had saved Randolph from Andromalius' clutches and he had thought the Alamove was safe enough for Randolph.

In a room that is large enough, there are several sofas with a table in the middle of the couch and a large window in the middle of the room. There are several figures there. Among them are Shadow, Doc, and Sins.

"Are you sure to return this child to the kingdom? Haven't you seen with your own eyes that one of the Seraphim has descended to earth?" Doc scolds Shadow.

"Yes. I'm pretty sure. I also concluded that a seraph wouldn't go as extreme as when Demons want to touch this boy if he didn't seem threatening to them," Shadow replied.

Someone in the group responded to Shadow's opinion, "What if you don't? What if your planning goes wrong?"

Shadow smiled behind the mask he was wearing. He then fixed one of his gloves which looked loose. Then he stood up and left the room.

"Don't worry. My thoughts won't go wrong. Those white-winged creatures are more rational than the Demons"

There is no longer any rejection of the words said by Shadow. The moment he opened the door to the room, Shadow looked back at the room and the figures in the room had disappeared.

"...I'll make sure my plan doesn't go wrong," he muttered.

In a room consisting of a bed, a cupboard, and a table with several medical devices on the table, two people were seen talking to each other.

Randolph came to his senses when he heard several voices talking to each other right next to him.

"Where am I?"

When Randolph came to his senses, one of the people in the room disappeared. Randolph was in an unfamiliar room. He was lying on a king-sized bed.

"Looks like you've come to your senses. Are you feeling okay? Is there something wrong with your body?" someone asked Randolph.

Randolph's gaze fell on the voice,

"Dr. Leywin? Why...why...are you here?" Randolph slightly got up from his sleep as he saw a familiar figure. However, dr. Leywin again tried to calm Randolph back.

"Calm down. All the guilds around the Alamove were summoned here because the Alamove kingdom needed additional assistance and I was in the medical department. You are in the elite warrior barracks located in the center of the Alamove kingdom"

When he heard Dr. Leywin's voice, Randolph reacted again. However, dr. Leywin seemed to understand the answer of Randolph's next question.

"No, they didn't come here. I think they got a quest that required them to travel to another country," replied dr. Leywin confidently.

Randolph looked down. But he was not disappointed.

"Looks like they're in the process to become stronger too," Randolph muttered.

"Knock..."

Someone knocked on the door of the room which made dr. Leywin reacted.

"Please come in. The door is unlocked"

The door opened and someone else familiar to Randolph entered.

"Looks like you've woken up, apparently your healing ability is quite fast," Eve replied. Then that guild master approached dr. Leywin, "So how long will it take him to return to his usual activities? His Majesty summoned this child to the palace," the woman continued.

dr. Leywin looked at Randolph. A smile appeared on his face, "I think he is ready to face His Majesty at any time. His body is in very good condition"

This time Eve's gaze shifted from dr. Leywin and headed to Randolph, "Then how about I meet you in 1 hour at the tavern. Bonar and the maids have prepared all your needs when meeting His Majesty"

Shortly after she said that Eve left the room.

As she walked down one of the halls that connected the room to another Eve muttered, "Why do I sense the presence of other people in the room? However, why can't I see them even when I use my special vision skill? How strange"

This time it was Randolph who chimed in.

"Ah, I'm so stupid. I forgot to ask something when Miss Eve was still here. Actually, what happened to me before they bring me here? As I recall, I fought the Orc. When I managed to defeat him, I don't remember what happened afterward."

dr. Leywin smiled again. Now there was a slightly sinister smile on his face that was invisible to Randolph.

"Perhaps, you got a collision against the orcs that make you lose a bit of your memory. The royal soldiers found you lying unconscious in the dungeon that was full of slaves a few hours after all the fights ended. Soon they took you to the medical tent," explained dr. Leywin simply.

[That's very strange. Full of slaves? What does that mean?]

dr. Leywin patted Randolph's shoulder who was still sitting on the edge of the bed.

"You'd better head back to the guild master's tavern. You don't want His Majesty to wait for you, do you?"

dr. Leywin interrupted Randolph's thoughts. The boy quickly got up from the bed and out of the room.

Just as Randolph had opened the door, the boy remembered something.

"Hey doc, thanks for your help this time too. But, who were you talking to earlier?"

Randolph's words made dr. Leywin tilted his head.

"I appreciated it. What do you mean? I just standing alone until now" he said.

This time it was Randolph who sighed, "Ah forget it. Nice to meet you, doc."

When Randolph's presence had disappeared, a figure appeared from next to dr. Leywin stood up.

"You're right, sir. That child can grow into someone more terrible. His sensitivity is very high. Hopefully, he will really be of use to Your Majesty," said dr. Leywin.

The figure beside dr. Leywin did not answer dr. Leywin, but he just muttered, "I can't wait for that day to come"
