The day in the mansion started with a heavy atmosphere. The Lycans welcomed themselves as soon as they arrived at the ground floor known as the Lobby. Although the hunter's viewpoint towards vampires were nothing but spite, they would rather welcome them than these barbaric animals.
Due to the fact that those vampires had more manners and elegance, they even do their best to live as human-like as possible. Whereas these Lycans whom they often referred as "Rude Dogs" are not one-bit manners were expressed towards the two clans nor humans. They live savagely like hunting dogs and they rely more on their instincts than rationality.
The invited…To rephrase that… The uninvited guests dominate the entire lobby just by their presence. Surely, it wasn't just some kind of leisure visit, rather it would be a good guess that these Lycans are here for a certain reason as how they gave out such proud expressions that defines their personality, obnoxious.
The Lycans were guided by SA-Ian Emerson (Sheryl's pair) on the way to the meeting hall. Along the way, the Supreme Alpha seemed to notice that someone had been staring at them intensely at some corner. A smirk formed in his lips when he confirmed that it was Hans who had been cautiously hiding from them and seeing his cute figure almost made his ears pop out.
At first, Hans was pretty confident of his plan but seeing the alpha made his unfazed resolve uncertain. Also, knowing that this alpha might end up his downfall scares him the most. But for now, all he knows is to act confident and calm whatever the result of the meeting may be.
Liam, the Supreme Alpha stared at him that made Hans jolt and abruptly hide behind the wall. Liam snickered in amusement then began to whisper at his right-hand man. The beta raised his eyebrow while doubting the alpha but decided to follow his order.
It took a couple of minutes before Hans decided to have a look. However, to his surprise, when he turned to glance, the Supreme Alpha was already standing before him while leaning his left arm to the wall. Hans's expression dried dead after having the alpha's presence in front of him.
"I'm surprised that you're the type of person to peep at others. Peeping Tom~"
Liam smirks from his remark that made Hans back off hastily. With his surprise expression the Supreme Alpha couldn't help but laugh hilariously. An irk of irritation almost made visible in Hans's face but he composed himself and walked pass through the alpha.
"Hmm… Is that the new way of greeting?"
The Supreme Alpha closed his eyes and gestured like he was doing some brainstorming. Hans wanted to glare at him and Liam seemed to know what was in his mind right now that made him laugh again. His face brightened while thinking that it would be a waste not to tease this tiny human a little more which gave Hans a bad feeling behind his stupid smile.
Hans ignored him and made his way to the meeting hall where he also knew that none other than the Supreme Alpha followed him. They became a center of attraction just by the presence of the alpha alone.
It's such a rare sight to see a human and a lycan being together. Plus, no ordinary alpha as it is.
"If only I could stitch his mouth then grudge his eyes out and ruin that face of his, I already did." He thought.
He stomped his way to the meeting hall since his master requested his presence but his anger towards the alpha behind him cannot be subsided which made Liam silently chuckle. As soon as they arrived at the meeting hall, many were confused to see Hans together with a happy alpha.
Hans walked to the side to where most of the Head's apprentices were. He approached Sheryl, Ian, Jasper, and Ashley making him in between the two gentlemen. He didn't mind the confused face the SA's were giving him and remained silent because he was still pissed off by someone.
Supreme Alpha Liam went to take a seat and made himself comfortable while his Gamma looked at him with bewilderment in his face. The Supreme Alpha just smiled at him then waved at Hans which he didn't take seriously then ignored him while pouting and Liam chuckled seeing his response.
Supreme Alpha Liam's smiling face soon fades when Dir. Melvis gave his welcoming remark, "Welcome! To our honored guests, please make yourselves comfortable."
"And to you as well, Dir. Russy." He greeted me inattentively.
He chuckled at the alpha's before then remarked, "Don't be like that. Drop the formality. We welcome you wholeheartedly."
"I see… you're still into jokes, Dir. Russy." He sarcastically grinned.
"And I see you're still as playful as always, Supreme Alpha." He satirically complimented.
"Now then, let's get to the point, Dir. Russy." The Supreme Alpha suggested.
"Ah! Yes… yes, we will. In a minute until they arrive." Dir. Melvis explained.
"They?" the alpha questioned.
Everyone in the meeting room began to ask each other if they knew what the director meant; however, none were aware of Dir. Melvis plans, including Hans. Then a moment after, the huge door opened revealing the vampire's clan. Everyone in the meeting room was in a state of shock and horror upon the arrival of the vampires, except for Head Melvis (the director) and Head Akito (the second-in-command).
Seeing the three clans all together is truly a rare and gruesome experience. Not even Hans wanted to be in this meeting if those three are in one room. For them, two clans clashing is more than enough to make the hair of their skin stand in fear. They were all surprised by the sudden arrival of the vicious vampire clan, especially Hans.
Hans' attention went directly to his master who just winked back at him as if he's telling him that everything will be fine. On the contrary of relief, Hans wasn't satisfied at all and found the whole situation ridiculous. He didn't understand why his master disregarded the plan he proposed to him. Whatever his master was thinking right now, he could no longer glimpse the light of escape for himself.
The Emperor, the Grand Duke, and the Adonis siblings (the three princes) along with the P.S and royal guards fully armed had arrived at the meeting hall with elegance yet coldness in their atmosphere. Prince Nikolai scanned the whole area just to search for the only person he finds unusually attached to. The moment Prince Nikolai and Hans met each other's gaze, the third prince beamed in excitement.
He used his speed to approach Hans that made every single one inside the meeting hall were in a state of shock. Ian and Jasper quickly tried to protect him but Hans removed their hands and explained to them that Prince Nikolai is no harm to him. The two hunters couldn't feel at ease with the Emperor's youngest son in front of them. The Director stared at his apprentice then Hans nodded and reassured them that everything's fine. Whereas the third prince didn't mind all the tension because he was so focused on Hans.
"Why did you leave without saying goodbye?" Prince Nikolai asked.
"I have some errands to do." He responded.
"Hmm? Is that so?" he asked again.
"Yes." He replied.
"W-wait, wait. Do you two know each other?" Jasper asked.
"Yes. We saw each other a few days ago. It's our second time meeting each other." Prince Nikolai explained.
"Seriously? Hans?" Jasper turned to face Hans.
"Yes." Hans nodded.
"Dad will definitely have a word with you." The young master whispered.
"I know. I'll explain everything to him." Hans whispered back.
"Then, how are you?" the third prince interrupted as he stood between Hans and Jasper which the young master found unpleasant.
"I-I'm fine." Hans stuttered.
"Can I stay beside you?" Prince Nikolai requested.
"Sure." He permitted.
The other two princes requested to their father that they also wanted to be with Hans. The Emperor couldn't possibly refuse his son's request so he gave in and allowed them. They followed where Prince Nikolai was then asked for Hans' permission which the human agreed without hesitation. And so, the second prince stood at the right side of Hans whereas the first prince stood next to the third prince, making Jasper further away from Hans that his face couldn't hide the irk of irritation because of it.
The royal guards were about to follow to where the young princes were but Grand Duke Arthur stopped them from their tracks. Hans and Grand Duke Arthur stared at each other for a minute or so, but soon ended when Hans avoided his gaze. However, in that minute he felt nostalgia every time their eyes met. While Hans tightened his fists denying the gaze of the Grand Duke who still kept staring at him.
Supreme Alpha Liam raised his eyebrow whereas he analyzed the atmosphere between them. A slight smirk formed in his lips when he thought, 'What should I do? I want to confirm if my guess is right.'
His smirk became more visible when he finally had the idea and the only thing he needed was to test it. He clasped his hand together then separated it and playfully saluted towards the Emperor.
"Yo, Emperor! Didn't expect you comin'." He said.
"How rude. Please do remember that it is not part of our custom to say "Yo" to the Emperor." The Emperor pointed out his rude manner.
"I think 'Yo' is cool, though." Prince Alex whispered.
"Alex." Prince William warned him.
"What?" Prince Alex asked but Prince William just rolled his eyes at him.
"Oh my, how impudent of me. But… aren't those so-called customs of yours so outdated? I mean, come on… we've been living for more than centuries already and what's more in a modern world." Supreme Alpha Liam reasoned out mischievously.
"It's our decision if we want changes or not. But I don't see the need to do so." The Emperor replied sternly.
"Come on. There are no kings and queens even for humans." The Supreme Alpha said mockingly.
"There's Queen Elizabeth in England."
The Supreme Alpha's Gamma replied cheerfully which Liam didn't seem to take it positively when he smiled yet glared at him whereas the Gamma avoided his gaze and whistled along with the wind.
"Anyways, a pleasant day to meet you too, Grand Duke and to the three little princes." The Supreme Alpha curtsy mockingly.
"Is it?" Grand Duke Arthur asked in a bored tone.
He giggled and replied, "Yes, it is. Although, I would very much appreciate it if you stop staring at Hans."
"And what gives you the right to say that?" the Grand Duke asked.
"Well~ I'm so shy to say this but you see we have this chemistry. He… is… actually… my…"
He intentionally slowed his words that made Hans silently sweat in nervousness, however, what Hans didn't expect from the Supreme Alpha's announcement was more tribal than his doom.
