The Adonis family happily ate their supper with etiquette and everyone enjoyed being able to eat together. Until the youngest of the siblings' eyes glowed as he was silently practicing his ability
"Huh?"
Prince Nikolai acted confused and bothered when he detected an unfamiliar energy-presence. He caught everyone's attention that made them wonder.
"Is there something wrong?" Grand Duke Arthur asked him.
He responded in confusion, "I just…Two…One of them is a Female Blood. They're lurking close to the villa? It's not one of us, though?"
Without giving a second thought, Emperor Charles called his PS and ordered him to double the surveillance around the area till the boundary to seize them. The PS immediately replied and abided by the emperor's orders.
Empress Jasmine slightly scolded the third prince, "Prince Nikolai, I am thankful you were able to catch the intruders. However, did I not tell you not to use your ability during supper?"
Prince Nikolai felt guilty and quickly apologized to his mother. Empress Jasmine accepted her son's apology as they continued finishing their meal. The third prince got distracted because he was curious about the unique presence that the female blood was with.
"Can I go with them?" he asked.
Prince Nikolai, who rarely goes out of the villa unless he was forced to, suddenly asked to join patrolling. Prince Alexander dropped his spoon looking dumbfounded while the others gave a shocking look.
"W-what? Are you okay, My little brother? Are you sick? Or-or-or…Are you poisoned?!" Prince Alexander exclaimed as he stared at the soup in front of him with an exaggerating expression.
"Stop it, Alex." Prince William scolded him for his behavior
"What? Did I say something wrong?"
He gave the empress a questioning look that made his mother smile as she slightly shook her head in disappointment.
Prince Nikolai rolled his eyes then said, "Just tell me if you don't want to. I won't force you."
He was about to stand to leave the dining room, however, Emperor Charles stopped him.
"Finish your meal then I will allow you, however, not now. You'll go first thing in the morning and bring Arthur with you." He instructed.
"We'll go too." The two older princes offered to their father and the emperor allowed them then continued their supper.
The youngest prince's face lit up in excitement as he slightly smiled and finished his meal. The empress stares at her husband if everything will be alright to let them all go, hence, the emperor used his telepathy ability to talk to his wife.
He and Empress Jasmine talked a few minutes in their minds, the emperor continued to reassure her that everything will be fine and finally the empress gave in. After they ate their dinner, Emperor Charles and his brother went to his office to discuss their patrol tomorrow. Prince William and Prince Alexander went their separate ways to prepare themselves for tomorrow.
The empress walked Prince Nikolai to his room. She noticed that her son had been in a good mood ever since his father permitted him to patrol the next day.
"You seem to be in a good mood." she stated.
Prince Nikolai looked at his mother then quickly focused himself on the hallway.
"Is it obvious?" he asked.
"Very obvious." She giggled at her son, who was trying to hide his embarrassment.
Empress Jasmine noticed that her son must have found someone interesting and it made her want to ask. However, with her son's personality, he obviously wanted to keep things to himself first. So, she didn't bother to ask and waited for Prince Nikolai to open up to her. When they arrived at his room, his mother bid him goodnight. He went to his bed and wished for tomorrow to come soon.
In a blink of an eye the morning came; the Adonis went to where the troops were after they accumulated their usual morning routine. Prince Alexander wore a grey shirt and over it with a short sleeve checkered then partnered it with some black pedal pants. While Prince William dazzled himself in a black polo with a gray suit and matched it with some tattered jeans.
As for Prince Nikolai, he simply wore a white undershirt then over it with some denim jacket and rolled it into halves with his white pedal pusher to match the style. Finally, Grand Duke Arthur designed his white turtleneck with some Italian designed suit and pants to complete the look.
Emperor Charles and Empress Jasmine watched them leave with some of the troops. The Adonis siblings together with their uncle patrolled the area till the main street. They all acted like how usually humans do to avoid the crowd's attention, however, truth to be told, they can certainly not hide their good looks because of their genes which caught the attention of the crowd.
Prince Nikolai silently started using his ability to feel the energy he detected last night. Prince William offered that he and Prince Alexander along with the guards' search near the border. This way, it would be easier for them to track down any suspicious intruders as one of the guards is a tracker.
Grand Duke Arthur didn't object and allowed them as they divided the guards into two groups then ordered the general to go with his two nephews in case something might happen. Hence, they continued searching but a few minutes had passed still, they hadn't found them. The Grand Duke knew this would happen since there is a limit to Prince Nikolai's ability and he hasn't fully mastered it yet.
Nevertheless, Prince Nikolai was determined to search for the intruders and so they continued. Without giving any warnings, the third prince ran while matching his speed to how humans usually run. His uncle and the guards were late to notice and couldn't stop him now that he's a few meters away from them instead they followed him hurriedly.
Prince Nikolai looked from left to right when he felt the similar energy from yesterday. He heard some conversations from the crowd but his mind was only full of those two's energy.
"Are you sure this is your decision?" the man asked
The woman replied, "Yes."
He didn't notice where he was going that he accidentally bumped into them and fell because of it.
"Ah! I'm sorry. Are you alright?" the man asked as he offered his hand to help him.
Prince Nikolai felt the unique presence coming from the man he bumped into. He slowly raised his head and there he saw Hans with the Female Blood on his right side. He noticed a woman's silhouette behind Hans's back and the woman faced her back against his as well.
Her rose gold Ombre hair was so beautiful that it dazzled in awe. However, the moment she slightly turned revealing half of her face while her bangs covered her eyes, tears slowly poured down to her cheeks.
His eyes glowed again as he was about to say something, "You—"
Hans immediately noticed his red eyes whereas the other vampires slowly getting near them made him quickly retrieve his hand away from the boy. The female agent asked Hans.
"What's wrong, teacher?"
"Run."
He told the female agent in a low voice which made her unable to hear him clearly.
"W-what?" she asked.
Hans accidentally slightly raised his voice and commanded, "Run!"
Prince Nikolai tried to talk to them "W-wait!"
But they were fast enough to run away. They ran towards an open space near the woods to where Hans parked his car.
When the vampires reached to where Prince Nikolai was, he informed them about the intruders which Grand Duke Arthur instructed the guards to chase Hans and the Female Blood.
"It's them!"
"After them!"
As Hans and the Female Blood went inside his sports car, the vampires were quick to arrive since there were no humans around them anymore.
Hans told his student, "Hold on tight."
He started the engine and blasted at full speed. The vampires were ready to stop them, however, Hans was quick enough to dodge them and rushed towards the border.
Grand Duke Arthur ordered the troops to go into the woods and chase them while Prince Nikolai called to inform his older brother, Prince William. As soon as Prince William heard his brother's explanation, he ordered Prince Alex along with their companion to go to the border. After the call ended, he then rushed to follow the troops.
Prince Nikolai and his uncle ran at such ridiculous speed while the troops were behind them. Grand Duke Arthur saw the desperation in his nephew's eyes that made him wonder what was going on.
When Hans reached the border, out of nowhere someone suddenly crushed his car with his bare hand. Prince William's eyes turned red while Prince Alexander chillingly came near them as he waved and greeted them whereas the troops surrounded the car with caution.
"Ya-hooo! Hello, intruders!"
Grand Duke Arthur and Prince Nikolai along with their troops arrived at the border and saw the scene. Prince Nikolai's two older brothers who stood there while waiting for them to arrive, noticed them. The youngest quickly approached them with his uncle and the troops.
Prince Nikolai was about to approach the driver's seat but his uncle stopped him. He took a step back and Grand Duke Arthur marched towards the driver's seat then knocked on the door of the car. He ordered Hans without hiding his immense aura.
"Come out."
