It was mid day before the snow tapered enough that the duo felt like they could venture outside, though it hadn't stopped snowing entirely.
Asta used the time to quiz Molaki on his own weather predictions. It took him more time to give over to 'the winds,' as she put it, which he didn't quite understand. The concept reminded him of when the blood connection was created between him and the Tri; reading the weather didn't work unless you wanted it to work. One had to relax and give themselves over fully, like meditation. Asta insisted that eventually it became second nature, and you didn't have to focus and calm your inner thoughts so much, but Molaki was dubious. He also was a little ruffled that he had to work so hard to hone his new skill, while Asta was just able to scent emotions like a flip of a switch.
