Every single citizen of Lyko stopped dead in their tracks at the sound. It didn't matter if they were a wolf, a cougar, or any of the other scattered species that were sprinkled in between the canines. The pitchy, angry howl that bellowed from the center of their home was like a siren song. It was a sound that the youngest of them had never heard, and the oldest of them thought they might not ever hear, with how harmonious the last Tri changeover had been.
It was an undeniable call to arms, to spectate. After his first howl, a few calls of support rang through the air, but after that, there was silence.
Molaki growled under his breath. Zylo better be dead to not answer. Even miles away, he would have heard the challenge. Given that nobody who had already gathered had told him the wolf was going to be away - Hera herself would have known that information - the traitor had been hiding out more than likely has he had two subordinates do his dirty work.
