Bree had to admit that she really liked Cerelia.
The younger woman was completely different from her brother. When Bree arrived at dinner, Cerelia had been waiting, and greeted her with a wide smile. She was much more open and cheerful, laughing along with Bree’s jokes and telling her own. If Bree hadn’t known it, she wouldn’t have ever guessed that Cerelia and Dallas were related.
There were also similarities between them: a clear streak of ferocity in Cerelia, and a commanding presence that Bree suspected could make any wolf obey her. It didn’t work as well on Bree, considering that Cerelia wasn’t her alpha, but she found herself comforted by Cerelia’s presence, trusting that she would make sure that everything worked out for the best in the end.
Cerelia was also more than willing to tell Bree embarrassing stories about what Dallas had been like as a pup.
