Chapter 46 - Chapter 45 The Dream

'What did you mean, Demus?' Ah, stillness once more; I'm so disappointed that you left before I could speak with you! Do you think I can't handle you? You're mine, don't forget it!' Adrian exclaimed, his mind racing.

He was left alone in life when his parents died, and it was only recently that he was able to contact his wolf. He regained his confidence after realizing he wasn't alone. When Demus was upset with him, though, it was choosing to disappear into the depths of his mind. Adrian didn't feel safe as a result of this.

When he couldn't communicate with Demus, he remembered what Adenos had said. When he told Adrian, "You are my brother," and he stood up from the table to hug him, his eyes had glowed. But what had he done? He had yelled at him and stormed out of the room, claiming that everything he had said was a lie. Adenos, on the other hand, had remained silent and bowed his head.

In the midst of all of these emotional outbursts, Adrian drifts into a restless dream. He dreams of the Moon Goddess. Her entire body glowed as her hair flew through the air, and she floats effortlessly in the breeze.

She appears to float in mid-air, as if the rules of physics don't apply to her.

'Unfortunately, Fate has a finger in the cake,' the Moon Goddess says to Adrian.

'She focuses on manipulating fated mates while I focus on identifying them. I'm powerless since Fate is my sister. This is what happens in your mother and father's relationship. She persuaded your mother to forego waiting for her fated mate. While your mother believed she was making a choice, she was actually carrying out Fate's intentions.

You're probably aware that my sister dislikes me. I am a benefactor to her. She believes that not everyone is entitled to happiness. That's why she's always attempting to upset the fated mates. Remember, your mother did not betray your father; she simply erred in believing in Fate. But she soon realized her error, and when she saw your father, she made the decision to be with him. Also, don't be angry with Demus. He's following the rules. For his age, he has a lot of experience. I want you to have faith in him. Fate just likes to weaken the bond. She is happier the more she weakens the bond. I'm sure she'll make an effort to contact your fated mate as well. But that's not what we're talking about right now. Let's put things aside for now and concentrate on you.

You're in desperate need of a family right now. While Demus will keep you safe in your inner world and in wolf form, Adenos will keep you safe in human form and teach you how to meet your worldly demands. You can rely on Adenos. He'll be a real big brother to you.

He also needs you. All you have to do is accept him. He's got a lot to say to you. Listen to him and respect him; his life without a mother was never easy, so tell him about your mother to help him develop memories of his mother. He will take care of you like me. Trust him!' the moment she says it, her image fades.

Despite the fact that Adrian had questions for the Moon Goddess, she had left her dream before asking any of them. Adrian drifts into a more restful sleep, despite his unanswered questions.

As the morning sun rays touched Adrian's eyes, he covered them with his hands. He had no idea where he was. Then he remembered the events of the previous day, as well as the dream he experienced the night.

Without opening his eyes, he listened to the sounds surrounding him. The birds were chirping outside in the forest. He noticed he was lying on the floor when he opened his eyes. He had sat on the floor in front of the door when he entered his room and had fallen asleep there as well.

He was numb all over and stood up after stretching his body. He discovered he felt good even though he was lying on the floor. Demus' thoughts were whirling around in his head.

'You're a slacker, you've been sleeping too much.' Get up, open the window, and take a deep breath of fresh air.'

'All right, quit running inside my head, I'm up,' Adrian says as he opens the window. He shuts his eyes and concentrates on the sounds of the forest. He can hear the peculiar sounds of the forest, the chirping of birds, and the rush of other animals thanks to his keen hearing. This acoustic harmony gives so much joy to his animalistic side, and this new feeling surprises him. For a time, he stands in front of the glass like this.

'You shouldn't be surprised, youngster. We are slowly but steadily removing the silver effect. Despite the fact that you are a stranger of that feeling, I am accustomed to the sharpness of all of these senses, and I am delighted to relive these sensations. Let's hope you're having as much fun as I am! You're only 14, yet you're descended from a pure Alpha lineage, and you have the blood of a witch in your veins. And if you utilize it right, that makes you an extremely valuable person.' Demus says with a smile in its voice.

'You know, the more the Moon Goddess talks about me, the more I like her.' At the very least, someone recognizes my worth.'

'OK, I'm sorry. What happened yesterday was too much for me to bear, and I vented my frustrations on you.'

'Only to me?' asked Demus.

'If you want to put more pressure, I accept my error, and I apologize to Adenos as well.'

With a chuckle, Demus added, "It's a tremendous virtue for an Alpha to apologize."

'Demus, I guess I've had your fill of insults. Now I'm going to take a brief shower and speak with Adenos; would this strategy work for you, old and wise wolf?' he jokes.

Then he thinks about the speech he was supposed to give and rushes to the shower.
