Current Character Semblance Listing

A small note before I get to the character powers, I would like to make sure you all realize this isn't necessarily a "complete" list. This list is the powers that the characters have and THEIR understanding of them, and as they understand them better this list might change.

If there is ever confusion on what a character can or can't do with their Semblance, this will most likely give the answer. I won't promise it'll always be up to date, but I will try to keep it relatively there if there are updates to be made.

If you have any comments, suggestions, or ideas for variations of AZTC's Semblances, or even aspects of already existing characters' Semblances, then I would prefer you leave them at either this part or at the ending note.

{Argento Chrono - Chronokinesis (Hereditary)}

[Perfect Time-Telling]

Argento is able to perfectly tell the time no matter where he is, and it is always specific to his exact location. If he wishes to know the time of another location he is not in, he would need to be there before to have the numbers necessary to manually do the math with his highly advanced intelligence.

This is extraordinarily accurate, and doing some tests Argento has found it to be perfectly accurate to all measurable accounts (meaning if he is off, it is such a small number he is unable to calculate it properly).

This is semi-accessible to Argento even while he is sleeping. It is like an inner alarm clock, and if he wishes to wake up by a certain time or after a certain number of hours he will. While he is sleeping, he is VERY vaguely aware of the time, and therefore can wake up at any moment and already know what time it is. He cannot make himself fall asleep though. 

[Increased Processing Speed]

This is sort of an active ability for his Semblance. While it doesn't actually take all that much aura, almost being offset by his natural regeneration, he can shut it on and off at will, but it can only be 0% or 100% on.

On activation, his processing speed is greatly enhanced. Oftentimes, because of his already naturally high processing speed, this will cause the world around him to seemingly slow down, when in reality it does not.

This also does not create better observation skills nor more intelligent thoughts. It simply allows more time for the natural mental ability of Argento to take place.

[Precognition]

This is not an ability Argento has control over, nor necessarily conscious understanding of it. This facet of his Semblance greatly boosts his aura sense, which causes him to be far more sensitive to danger, and allows him greater clarity on WHAT is causing the danger. (This is seen in his interactions with Celestia when she uses a very weak Pulse to the back of his head. He knows it is her because he can FEEL(?) it.)

[Object-Time-Slow]

Things capable of thought, no matter how basic or animalistic, are able to resist the altering of their time-flow. Through experimentation, Argento has found a general difficulty raising for more powerful or more intelligent beings. (This does include Grimm, because even though it is very basic and animalistic when they are young there is still intelligence and strength to resist) This difficulty raise also creates a scaling with the aura cost for using this.

This is only able to take effect once contact is made by Argento's aura touching the object/person's aura (and in the case of Grimm it only takes effect should he be able to make contact with the Grimm itself). The effect lasts even after contact is broken, but only for as long as the aura supplied lasts before being used up.

Because the speed of the object is being altered at a fundamental level, the affected object/person/Grimm will have to become accustomed to the change in how much speed/power to put into something (this causes troubles adapting for most, generally ending in stumbling around or being more uncoordinated than usual)

This is only able to affect one object at a time, but it can stack with [Object-Time-Speed]. This means that one thing can be slowed, and another sped up, but there cannot be multiple of one effect.

The premise of this ability is being able to decrease the velocity of the affected object by increasing the time required to cover the distance (this is a little confusing to understand, but if you use the velocity formula it is a little easier to imagine.) {*Here is a little science lesson for those who do not know what I am talking about. Velocity is, in layman's terms, the speed an object is moving. The formula for finding the velocity of an object is m/s, which stands for meters per second. So say you move 30 meters in 10 seconds, putting the 30/10 into the formula brings it to 3 m/s, which brings it to you moving 3 meters every second.*} [**This means that what Object-Time-Slow does is increase the seconds needed for said formula. If we use the previous example of 30/10 for 3 m/s, what the ability does is makes that 30/20, making it 1.5 m/s. This "slows" it down by altering the time parameters.**] (***Because the very velocity of the object is being altered, the damage done by a weapon affected by this ability is decreased in accordance to how slow the object being affected is slowed to.***)

(I hope explanation of the power made sense, but if it doesn't then I do apologize. If you don't get it, just imagine it slows shit down and makes weapons do less damage. Simple.)

[Object-Time-Speed]

The original would be 3 m/s, while the new value is 6 m/s.*}[**Because the very velocity of the object is being altered, the damage done will be increased in accordance to how sped up the object is.**]

[Object-Time-Reversal]

Things capable of thought, no matter how basic or animalistic, are able to resist the altering of their time-flow. (This does include Grimm, because even though it is very basic and animalistic when they are young there is still intelligence and strength to resist) This difficulty raise also creates a scaling with the aura cost for using this.

This is only able to take effect once contact is made by Argento's aura touching the object/person's aura (and in the case of Grimm it only takes effect should he be able to make contact with the Grimm itself). The aftermath itself is a permanent change, but can still be altered again (so if a sword breaks, and is then reversed properly, the sword is back to full condition but can be broken again).

Though this can be used on multiple targets at once, the drain will match the numbers by an increased factor. This is on top of the exponential increase from the initial use for every individual use makes it not so particularly useful on multiples.

With this all being said, if something under the effect of [Object-Time-Reversal] is missing enough of anything, it will be unable to reverse past the point of losing whatever it is unless said part is within ability range. (This means that if a wound causes enough blood loss there will be no way to undo said wound unless all the blood is collected and "untampered" in a sense. This also stacks with the fact that all wounds would be accounted for on a single body, so if a particularly nasty wound caused massive bleeding, but then an arm was cleanly detached without a lot of blood without retrieving the arm, the nasty wound would stay because it wouldn't be able to go past the point the arm was lost.)

[Time-Bubble]

This is the ability to create a bubble that contorts the flow of time. The larger the bubble, as well as the larger the dilation of time, the higher aura cost to create and maintain. (So a single-person bubble with no time-dilation will cost a lot less than a bubble for a group of people that dilates time. Obviously. But the cost for a group of people in a bubble with no time dilation will be less than the cost for the same group of people in a bubble with time dilation, because that time dilation has to act upon each object/individual inside the bubble)

There is always a cost to maintaining a bubble, regardless of its size, shape, or time dilation. There is just more cost the more it changes from the universal-norms.

If the time inside the bubble is sped up, then 10 seconds outside the bubble becomes 5 seconds inside it. If the time inside the bubble is slowed down, then 10 seconds outside the bubble becomes 20 seconds inside it.

Argento is able to alter the transparency of the bubble's shell, and there is no aura cost difference between a solid gold shell that cannot be seen through and a near-invisible shell that is almost like looking through glass.

He is able to control whether exiting or entering the bubble is possible. This is done by making the walls go from "solid" to "viscous". If there is a time dilation inside, the individual entering or exiting is respectively affected or unaffected once they are completely in or out of the bubble. If it is "solid", once the bubble is broken at any point the whole bubble collapses, stopping any time dilation that may be in effect.

The bubbles can be altered even after they are made, whether it be their size, shape, or time-dilation.

The bubbles are able to be made with aura reserves, which makes it so Argento can cut off his connection to it completely and the bubble would drain from the reserves before finally disappearing.

A variation Argento created with this is the Time-Net, which is when he creates smaller, condensed bubbles that upon contact with their target will encase them in said bubble. Controls and acts the same as normal bubbles, but in their condensed form they take a greatly reduced amount of aura/second and can be difficult to notice during a fight.

A semi-variation Argento created with this is the Time-Step, which is when he creates bubbles, generally small, flat, and disk-shaped, that are solid and able to be used as leverage for mobility.

A semi-variation Argento created with this is the Time-Wall, which is a bubble that is pretty much identical to the Time-Step but expanded and used generally for defense or supporting things. 

[Time-Slow]

This ability allows Argento to slow the time of everything but himself. The major differences with Object-Time-Slow/Speed are that it doesn't fundamentally alter the velocity of things, instead simply causing time to "naturally" be this way. While sounding overpowered, there are a few caveats.

He is able to bring others with him into this state, but doing so creates a strain equal to however many people he brought. (If just himself is 5 aura/second, then if he brought AZTC with him it would cost him 20 aura/second)

Any interaction with slowed individuals automatically drags them into it, but once contact with Argento is broken they are dumped back into their time.

While he may be "going faster", he does not do more damage, and the "slower" individuals do not do less damage. This is mainly because any contact with Argento causes the time to even out, bringing the speed to normal for both attackers and defenders.

The time-dilation factor causes a higher or lower drain on Argento's aura depending on where it goes. (If, for example, slowing time down by 1% costs 5 aura/second, then 2% would be 10 aura/second.)

{Celestia Zeros - Pulse}

This is the most simple out of the powers I made characters have. She creates pulses of power, in a sense. The distance and power of her pulses can be trained to become better/stronger, though a constant is that the farther/stronger her pulses are the more they will cost, on average.

As a more taxing move she is able to create multiple at a time, though the number, their location relative to her, and their strength cause the aura cost to vary.

{Dawn Trudeau - Photokinesis}

She is able to bend light to her will. Because it is bending, and not creating, her Semblance becomes weaker the less light there is. She is able to offset this by using more aura for a move that would normally not take as much, which is not very efficient but still works well enough.

She is able to control light to create solid light-based constructs. These constructs naturally produce heat, and given training and time Dawn is able to lower or raise the heat of said constructs. (light is energy and heat is inevitable from having so much in one place, blah blah blah, science and shit.)

The constructs are able to be freely moved around by Dawn, but the further from her the harder to control and maintain they become.

She is able to create orbs of light that can "stick to objects", which she can make either have their own reserves so they naturally die out or she can let it drain hers. (think of Skyrim's Magelight spell) She is not limited in number nor intensity of said lights, only in the aura she is able to provide them.

A semi-variation of her ability is that she is able to create a construct, whether a platform or pseudo-clothes, that she uses to move herself around. It is not the easiest, difficult to master and balance the heat with durability/mobility/aura drain, but it allows arial movement when necessary.

{Eugene Cordova - Hemokinesis}

In short, he controls blood. Using this control, he is able to assist and speed up the process of wound healing. (This comes from him using blood under his control, so the effectiveness of his healing is proportional to the severity of the wound, the amount of blood used, and his training in healing.)

His control over blood only applies to any that has exited a person's body, because when it is in the body it is connected to their aura, which counteracts his control. That being said, when a wound is made he is able to control the fresh bleeding to cover the wound and "scab" over. It is not an actual scab, it is simply him solidifying the blood to slow down, and in some cases stop, the outward flow of blood.

When he concentrates, he can feel someone's flow of blood. He can't control this blood, but he can gain information from it. One such way he uses this is to tell when someone is lying. It is very rare that someone is capable of controlling their bodies well enough for their blood to not portray their truth, so he is 99% accurate.

In this same avenue, he is capable of sensing all forms of blood within a certain radius of himself, but beyond a few meters he must be actively concentrating to do so, and even then the further away the fainter it becomes. Using this he can gain control of blood even on the fringes of his sense, but it takes more aura the further away he is when he gains control.

He is able to condense and control all blood that is not laced with another's aura, and his favored form of having blood on him is to hold it in beads around his body, and most is around his neck. This blood is forced to stay in this form, and with training his control he is able to increase the amount of blood he can keep in this form without hindering his aura regeneration. (Within this is the ability to nullify the smell of the blood under his control)

While blood is under his control, he can change how "fresh" it is. That means dried blood, bloodstains, or fresh blood are all the same to him, and he can change them to such forms if he so wished.

Because of the nature of some illnesses and poisons, Eugene is able to detoxify and/or nullify the effects of said illnesses and poisons. Whether that is "speeding up" the natural body process for things like alcohol or simply ejecting the cause from the bloodstream or parts that are able to be directly affected by blood.

Because of blood's liquid nature and his complete control over it, he is able to make constructs solid or semi-solid, such as creating whips that act similar to the real-deal. It is harder to create a proper solid object, but it especially excels restraining because of its freedom of movement.

Eugene is able to replicate wings with his controlled blood, and while they aren't as effective as real wings (i.e. Celestia's) they do allow for flight.
