#Chapter 69 Debrief
Glenda’s POV
Matt and Felix returned from the dinner at Mordecai’s hours later. Felix looked like he’d rather be anywhere else. He smiled at us both, greeted us, and walked straight to the balcony with his phone to his ear and his hand tapping out a cigarette.
Whatever happened must have been stressful. I didn’t notice it before, but Felix had a tremor in his hand that seemed eased only when he had a cigarette in his mouth. There was something about it that was waving big red flags at the back of my mind, but I couldn’t put my finger on it.
I hadn’t even started apprenticing with my mother before she died and the curriculum wasn’t that advanced at the pack’s school. Matt looked pensive as they sat in the living room where Emoni and I were eating ice cream and brainstorming about the next move.
