Avery's katana hurt the zombie's hand. Although Avery was fighting with a katana, the zombie grabbed his throat. When the blade went through the zombie's head, it let go of Avery.
Reed was the first person everyone looked at. The demon's sword soared into the sky and vanished. Within seconds, Reed had reached out and touched the zombie's body. After that, he seized the black power that appeared within the zombie's body.
"Reed, you went for a walk. I see you're not busy." Later, Devin went up to Reed.
"You? Aren't you busy? If I understand correctly, you like watching Avery." Reed said.
Devin smiled. "I'm helping Avery out. Compared to her grandmother, Avery remains fragile. Avery isn't strong. Someone needs to lead her."
Reed told her, "What you're doing is wrong."
"Really? " Devin asked. "You care about humans."
"I'm watching out for Avery and Jasmin because they're important to Emy."
Devin chuckled. "Okay. I am going."
