Six weeks have passed since Khan started his shaman training with Gomrick ,which mostly consisted of trying to feel and manipulate the mana inside and around him. Khan may be extremally pridefully but he has always had the talent to back up his arrogance and was not unaccustomed to hard work and finally today he felt it. The so called mana was a warm liquid like substance in the middle of his chest that flowed through his veins. Upon sensing this Khan who had been meditating for over 30 hours passed out immediately.
"That dumbass he should of taken a break from meditating all day." Gomrick said while tending to his personal plot of potatoes inside the hut. "I guess we can finally move on to the next phase of training. I can't believe it only took him six weeks when It took me three months. I guess this brat has talent after all."
Khan woke up in the morning after passing out for over 12 hours from exhaustion. Once up he went straight to Gomrick saying "I did it. I can sense mana can we start the next phase of training."
"Not yet you still have to farm those potatoes or the guards will notice you if you stop working in the fields." Gomrick replied shoving a hoe into Khan hands.
'This is bullshit I spent all this time trying to sense my mana and when I finally accomplish it I have to go work in the fucking fields. I swear I'm going to kill that shaman and drink his blood one day. How dare he enslave me.' however while thinking this he suddenly started to calm down and became more Intune to farming. 'Huh what's going on?' "Why is that slave staring at that potato like it is it's mortal enemy?" a orc on the wall said to the orc beside it. "I have no clue? Maybe the shaman's magic screwed with its brain. Just ignore him and continue making you rounds." the other orc replied. Later in the night back in the hut "Okay now that you can sense you mana I want you to try and manipulate your mana. So first try and speed up or slow down the flow of mana throughout your body." said Gomrick sitting in the lotus position. "That should be easy." Khan started to try and make the mana flow through him faster but no matter what he did it just kept on flowing at the same speed. Then he tried to stop or slow down the flow but got the same result. As a crease started to form on his head he yelled "What is this it is not doing anything I want it to do." "Oh course not." Gomrick said hitting Khan on top of the head with a hoe "All you orcs are the same you just want to brute force your way through it. Its a wonder any of you became shamans. You need to coax it thorough find out what it wants to do then just speed that up or slightly influence it." "Alright if you say so." Khan replied rubbing his head. Khan then started to look inside himself again watching the way the mana traveled through his body. After about an hour of straight observations Khan tried again only this time he was very gentle trying to coax the mana through the veins in his arm a little faster. After about ten minutes it finally started to speed up by about 5%. "Let me guess you just unlocked your Khan then spent the next two weeks doing non stop practice even while farming. Surprisingly he found that it actually was beneficial to practice while farming since his ..... In the Fire Bird clan's chieftain's house four orcs are surrounding a circular table with a map on it and four markers. "We should strike first the best defense is a good offense." said an orc with a ponytail and flowing brown beard. "Shut up Haulkfur. We are low on men and the other tribes would gang upon us and attack when we leave the village. The best thing to do is to start making traps and fortify our position if we do have to fight we can send out the slaves to tie them up and then strike them from behind." Gudok the tracker said turning towards Haulkfur. "We can't do that it is to cowardly my ancestor would shame me for doing that." Haulkfur responded. "I agree with Gudok Chieftain. We are the only tribe with a shaman on the plains and he can be of the best help in an definsive battle than an offensive plus he will have plenty of time to prepare ,isn't that right Sangus." Fullan said turning to Sangus the shaman. "I agree with Fullan Chieftain. If we can capture an goblin village or two I can set up a defensive formation around the village to empower us if their is an attack." Sangus said turning towards Flamock. "Although I hate the idea of cowering like a damn turtle in his shell instead fighting like a true orc this is the best option for us right now. So Haulkfur ramp up the training on the new orcs. Gudok start searching around the area for some goblin villages they are always creeping around somewhere. Fullan gather the orcs and start to set up traps around the village pit falls trip wires whatever make sure whoever wants to attack us has to lose a couple men before they get here. Sangus see if you can research a magic field to not only empower us but also weaken our enemies. We only have so much time left before the other clans start their attack. Now go. Flamock then turned around and headed out the back of his house he then started to train in earnest swinging his sword and meditating with that red aura. Worrying about what is to come and how he will protect himself and his clan.
