"Stop it!! You're old, why are you acting like a child?!" Ervin shouted fiercely. "Look! Everyone is looking at you!" Ervin said.
Thomas and Josh immediately stopped and looked at the people who were watching the two of them.
"What is this!!" Suddenly, two well-built men appeared.
"What is this?" He asked again in his baritone voice towards Thomas and Josh who were sitting.
"Nothing! Me and him," Josh pointed at Thomas. "Just kidding. Don't you know us?" Josh asked back.
"Of course, we know the three of you very well. We thought someone was fighting, then excuse me." Finally, everyone who was watching them finally dispersed.
"Because of your child-like behavior, we finally become their spectacle," said Ervin.
Josh and Thomas fell silent. What Ervin said was true.
"I want to go home, I feel my head hurts," Ervin said again, took another sip of his drink, and stood up.
"Why come home? It's still late," Josh asked, seeing Ervin fixing his jacket.
"Tomorrow I have an important meeting. I have to go to the office in the morning," replied Ervin.
"Earlier you said you wanted to drink until you were drunk, why are you going home now?" Josh protested.
"I was like that but I just remembered that tomorrow there will be a big tender, I don't want to lose," Ervin replied again.
"Then I want to go home too. It feels very sleepy," said Thomas.
"You're home too? How are you guys, there's no sense of solidarity at all, when I'm left here alone," Josh protested.
"If you don't want to be alone, you go home!" Answered Thomas.
"I don't have anyone at home, I just came here because I'm lonely alone," Josh replied, his face suddenly clouded.
"But I can't. I'm leaving," replied Ervin immediately leaving the place through the crowd of people who started prancing irregularly.
"I want to go too. See you soon my dear friend," said Thomas teasing Josh who was annoyed with a wink.
"Unclean!" Josh said throwing Thomas peanut shells.
Thomas burst out laughing, then quickly left before Josh caught him again.
"I'm all alone now," Josh leaned back in the chair.
Not long after, two women came up to him and sat next to Josh who was closing his eyes.
"Are you alone sir?" A spoiled voice greeted Josh.
Josh immediately opened his eyes. "If you want, come with me," Josh replied.
"With pleasure, sir," replied the woman in the blue dress, leaning her chest in Josh's hand.
"What's your name?" Josh asked the woman in the blue dress.
"Ririn," she answered spoiled with his red lipstick lips.
"And you, what's your name?" Josh asked looking at the other one, the woman who greeted him first.
"Dewi," she answered no less spoiled than Ririn.
"Come with me tonight," Josh said as she put his arm around the two women.
"With pleasure, sir," replied the two. The three of them laughed together.
The sound of the music getting louder added to the atmosphere getting hotter. I don't know how many bottles of drink Josh had finished, his body already looked unsteady with his face and eyes red.
The night was getting late and left all the stories had turned into a bright morning.
"Ratna," Ervin called the only person she trusted the most.
Ratna, who happened to be outside Ervin's room, rushed in because the door to the room was open. "Yes sir."
"It came fast," said Ervin, who was fixing his tie in front of the mirror.
"I happened to be in front of the bedroom door," answered Ratna.
"Make me coffee, don't be too sweet, and also toast. Today I have an important meeting so hurry up and make it," said Ervin.
"Yeah, fine. I'll make it right away." Ratna quickly rushed out of the room.
After finishing wearing his tie and suit and looking in the mirror again. Ervin took his briefcase and stepped out of his room.
"Already Ratna?" Ervin asked seeing his maid in the dining room.
"Yes sir," replied Ratna.
"Just bring it here." Ervin stepped towards a small table overlooking the garden behind his house. The fresh air hit his face as soon as he sat down.
"Ratna, where's today's newspaper?" Ervin asked.
"This is sir," answered Ratna who brought a tray of coffee and toast complete with newspapers.
"Thank you," Ervin replied immediately taking the newspaper. While Ratna put coffee and toast in front of Ervin.
"Breakfast, sir," said Ratna.
"Yes, thank you," replied Ervin. "Tell the driver to warm up the car. I want to bring the car myself."
"Yes," Ratna immediately went to find her master's private driver.
After a few minutes of reading only the most important sections of the newspaper, Ervin quickly finished his breakfast and hurried outside.
Ratna seems to be with her husband waiting for Ervin.
"Sir, should I just use a driver to go to the office," Ratna suggested.
"No need, I want to bring my car. I haven't brought a car in a long time," Ervin replied, getting into his car.
Ratna and her husband were still standing watching the car move out of the yard and through the gate that opened automatically.
"Mr. Ervin is a good man and a good husband. I feel sorry for him. Almost every day he is alone even though he has a wife," said Ratna, who was still looking at the gate even though Ervin's car was nowhere to be seen.
"I also feel sorry for him, Ratna. But we can't interfere in their business. It's their business," replied her husband.
"Yes, sir. Let's just pray that Master will find happiness. Don't continue like that. He's still very young. We raised him from a young age since his parents were still around."
"Yeah. We'd better go in. I want coffee, I haven't had coffee since this morning." Invite her husband to take his wife's hand into the house.
Ervin drove his car through the streets of the capital, which was never absent from traffic jams. "I hate this traffic jam." He looked at the wristwatch in his right hand.
The sound of car horns ringing each other adds to the chaotic atmosphere. Polluted fumes from motorized vehicles make road users have to be extra patient in dealing with extraordinary traffic jams at working hours like this.
Ervin's cell phone which was in his pocket vibrated. He looked at the screen of the cellphone showing the name of his secretary.
"Hello, Bianca." The first words came out of Ervin as soon as he answered the phone.
There was a voice from the other side. "Good morning sir, the meeting will start in half an hour. Where are you?" Bianca asked.
"Still on the road. It's very jammed. I'll try to get to the office in half an hour," Ervin replied and immediately hung up the phone.
