Third Individual's POV
"Ha, you must think that all luck is with you," Tyler said with a groan. "Just because I treated you nicely, and just because I turned a blind eye to everything you do, you're acting arrogant?" He asked, with a glare.
"Why? Are you mad, sir? If you're that mad, then why don't you fire me? I wonder if you will be able to find a secretary who's better than me. Remember sir, I've been your secretary ever since you were 20 years old," Seo ya said.
"Ha, you're right. That's exactly why I'm turning a blind eye to this. Enough with your nonsense, I've got important matters to handle," Tyler said, as he left.
Seo ya turned her back, and looked at the gay couple who gazed at her as if she's some sort of deity. "T-Thank you!" One of the two said. "Why the thanks? I only said your rights, and facts," she replied.
"Ah, we'd like to thank you because no one has ever stood up for us just like what you did, sir. We're so happy that someone we're not even close to, chose our side," the other one said.
They continued their conversation, but little did they know that Tyler was actually eavesdropping their conversation, and felt guilt. "Ah right, I need to ask that asshole CEO if he got some work for me. If he decides to fire me, then what can we do? I'll just let him be," Seo ya said when she arrived at her office.
She went outside her office, and walked towards Tyler's office when she suddenly heard something. "I take my word back. You guys are impressive workers, so it will be our loss if we lose you both. However, you must keep your office life and your privacy, hence romance separately," Tyler said.
Seo ya opened the door, causing them to be surprised. "Y-You?!" Tyler asked, flabbergasted. "I see, you still got some sense. Yet here I am, thinking if you lost your brain," Seo ya said. "Ahem, you may leave now," Tyler said to the two gay couples.
The both of them left, and Tyler pretended to cough. "Ahem, why are you here?" "Is there supposedly a reason why a secretary must visit the CEO's office?" She asked.
"Of course!" Tyler replied. 'He is red. He must have lost his pride the moment I caught him on the scene, regretting his words,'Seo ya thought.
"Oh well, I'm here to ask you if you've got some work left for me, or if you have decided to fire me," Seo ya said, blunt. "Just like you said, I'd be an idiot if I were to fire you."
"Hmm, glad you know," Seo ya said, looking at him with a mocking reaction. "Anyway, I did what you wanted me to do, and I don't even receive an apology for what you said? I at least expected an apology!" Tyler said.
"Apology? Why would I apologize when you deserve it?" Seo ya asked, raising one of her eyebrows. "Ha, there you go again with that sly tongue of yours," he sighed. "Get ready for the board meeting," Tyler ordered.
After a few minutes, they went to the meeting room where tension was felt in the air. A bunch of people were gathered, and in the center, is where Tyler sat. "Greetings, everyone. I trust that everyone has been alright," Tyler said with a smile.
"Today, we'll be looking at sales we had this summer. As you can see on the presentation, our sales dropped from 95% to 93% ever since the project at Sydney has failed," Tyler said, making Seo ya shocked.
'Sydney? Did they have a project there too?'Seo ya thought. "Now, what do you think is the problem as to why our sales dropped 2%?" He asked. One of the people on the seats raised their hand and said, "Could it be because there was a rumor leaking around that the company of Ms. Seo ya Jang also had a project in Sydney? What if the reason why our project has failed is because the people in Sydney guided Ms. Jang first?"
"Ms. Seo ya Jang? Ah, your sister," Tyler looked at Seo ya. Seo ya nodded and said, "Yes, Seo ya is my little sister." "You're her brother, didn't you know that she also has a project in Sydney?" One of the coworkers asked.
Seo ya shook her head and said, "I haven't communicated with her for years, how am I supposed to know?" "Hmm, make sense." They murmured.
"What was your sister like?" Tyler asked. "Hmm, she's a strong woman, and she's very beautiful," Seo ya said, complimenting herself. One of the workers laughed and said, "You're missing the point. Ms. Jang was known for her coldness. She even fired 15 workers at her parent's company when she was a child, and nowadays, I heard that she fired someone despite that it's their first day."
"Aren't you the one who's missing the point? She's cold, that's right. However, there was a reason as to why she fired them. That woman nowadays that she fired broke the rule of no smoking while working. She can't afford to work with someone who doesn't even follow the rules," Seo ya said.
"Ha! Just for smoking, she was fired?" They chuckled. "What do you mean by 'just'? There were a lot of possibilities of what may have caused it. The other workers, the customers may be the second hand smoker, and children may be a part too. I think about the consequences, not nonsense," she said, making them speechless.
'Is this even a board meeting? Or a trash meeting? I can't believe how low people here are,'Seo ya thought.
"Now, now. Enough with the chatter," Tyler said. After a few hours, the meeting ended. "I never knew a meeting could be so tense," Seo ya mumbled.
"Aren't you used to it already?" Tyler chuckled. "Anyways, I asked this earlier but, besides her being strong and beautiful, what is your sister like?" He continued.
"What makes you interested in my sister, sir?"
