Author POV:
The grand hall of the Kami Kingdom was illuminated with golden chandeliers, their light reflecting off the intricate carvings and tapestries adorning the walls. It was the day of Jungkook's coronation, and the air buzzed with anticipation. Nobles and royals from nearby kingdoms filled the hall. Among them were King Jin and Princess Y/N of the Mani Kingdom, King Taehyung of So-Land, King Namjoon and Princess Liaa of the LaLa Kingdom, and King Yoongi of the Seop Kingdom. All eyes were on the towering doors that would soon reveal the new king.
The doors opened, and Jungkook entered, dressed in resplendent coronation attire. His long royal robe was a deep crimson, embroidered with golden dragons symbolizing power and protection. His black boots gleamed, and a jeweled sword hung at his side, signifying his role as protector of the kingdom. On his head, a delicate crown encrusted with diamonds and rubies shimmered under the light. He walked with a regal aura, his posture confident, yet his eyes held the weight of responsibility.
The hall fell silent as he ascended the grand dais. The High Priest stood before him with the crown and the sacred scepter. The coronation began with the High Priest reciting the ancient rites, calling upon the ancestors to bless Jungkook's reign.
Jungkook then placed his hand on the Kingdom's sacred relic, the Sword of Unity, and spoke his vows in a powerful voice
Jungkook: I, Jeon Jungkook, stand before you as the king of Kami Kingdom. I vow to uphold justice, protect my people, and lead with wisdom and courage. My sword shall defend the innocent, and my heart shall remain loyal to my land. Let the heavens bear witness to my promise. Long may my reign bring peace and prosperity to all.
The hall erupted into applause and cheers as the High Priest placed the crown on Jungkook's head. Trumpets sounded, and the crowd rose to their feet, clapping and celebrating the new king. Servants poured champagne into crystal glasses, and a toast was raised to Jungkook's reign.
After the ceremony, Taehyung approached Y/N, who stood near a grand pillar. His striking features softened as he smiled and extended his hand.
Taehyung: May I have the honor?
he asked gently.
Y/N surprised by the attention, but placed her hand in his and smile softly. Taehyung led her to the center of the hall. The crowd quieted, curious about the sudden movement. Then, King Jin stepped forward with a proud smile and announced. Jin raised his glass once more, addressing the crowd with a warm smile.
Jin: Friends, allies, and esteemed guests, we are honored to invite you all to the grand wedding of Princess Y/N and King Taehyung. Let this union mark the beginning of a stronger bond between our kingdoms. The ceremony will take place in So-Land next month, and we eagerly await your presence on this joyous occasion.
Cheers erupted once again, and champagne glasses clinked as everyone congratulated the pair. Y/N felt a mix of emotions-surprise, nervousness, and a tinge of warmth at Taehyung's protective presence. Jungkook also came over, congratulating them with a smile.
Jungkook: May your union bring happiness and prosperity. he said, though his eyes flickered with a hint of unease.
Y/N POV:
That evening, I met Princess Liaa for the first time. Liaa was cheerful and free spirit her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
Liaa: So.. you're Princess Y/N. I've heard so much about you. Tell me, do you enjoy the court life, or do you prefer sneaking out like I do? (she teased with a wink.)
I laughed, instantly warming up to her.
Y/N: I suppose... I'm a mix of both. But what about you? Sneaking out sounds more adventurous.
We two bonded quickly, exchanging stories and laughing, much to Namjoon's dismay as he watched his sister from a distance.
Namjoon: Liaa, behave yourself
he had said, earning a playful eye-roll from her.
Liaa: He always acts like this.
Y/N: But he cares about you.... So.... What do you think about the King Kami Kingdom?
Her face became hot and red. The red blush was visible on her face. I smiled.
Liaa: I don't know. I need some time. I don't want to rush.
She looked at him, who was already looking at her. His eyes were saying a lot, but he couldn't get out of that atmosphere.
As the evening wore on, a new figure entered the hall. He went straight to Y/N and tapped her shoulder. She looked back, It was King Hae-in of Romania, a tall and commanding man with piercing eyes. When Y/N looked at him, her breath caught. Her mind reeled as she recognized him. He was Hae-in, the man from the future and-the one she had read about in the book The King's Love. Everything froze for a moment as the realization hit her: the story of the book were unfolding exactly as she had read.
Hae-in spoke warmly, breaking her thoughts.
Hae-in: (He bowed and greeted her.) Princess Hiranmayee always spoke fondly of you. You two were childhood friends, weren't you? I've always been eager to meet you. I wanted to share the news that we are to be married this week. I hope you can join us-it would mean so much to her.
Y/N forced a smile, her heart pounding.
Y/N: I'm so happy to hear that. Congratulations to both of you. I'll definitely be there. It's been a long since I haven't seen her.
But inside, panic took over. The book's story rushed back to her-the war, the destruction, and most of all, Taehyung's death. Her vision blurred as dread consumed her. She swayed on her feet before collapsing.
Taehyung, who had been nearby, rushed to her side, catching her before she hit the floor.
Taehyung: Y/N!
He called, his voice full of concern. He carried her out of the hall, his worry evident to everyone watching.
Throughout the preparations for the coronation and to control the situation Jin and Namjoon had been instrumental in ensuring everything went smoothly. Taehyung personally oversaw the decorations, while Jin managed the royal banquet. Namjoon ensured the security and protocols were flawless, his meticulous nature showing in every detail.
As Jungkook took the throne, he silently acknowledged the efforts of his hyungs, grateful for their unwavering support. However, the day marked the beginning of a storm, one that Y/N knew could alter all their lives forever.

The clash of swords, the roar of battle. Y/N saw the battlefield drenched in rain, blood mixing with the water to form a crimson river flowing endlessly. Taehyung, as a leader, had fought valiantly and almost led his forces to victory. His sword was at Max Roy's throat, the traitorous leader who had caused so much destruction. But just as Taehyung was about to deliver the final blow, three arrows came flying from afar, piercing his chest in quick succession.
Taehyung dropped to his knees, his sword falling from his hand, his eyes wide with pain and disbelief. The battlefield froze as he collapsed into the bloody rain-soaked ground. Y/N could hear the screams, feel the cold rain, and see the life fading from his eyes. The world seemed to shatter in that moment, and she screamed his name.
Y/N: Taehyung....
She jolted awake, gasping for air, her chest heaving as though she had truly been there. Her body was drenched in sweat, her heart pounding as if trying to escape her chest. The vivid image of Taehyung's death lingered in her mind, haunting her even in wakefulness.
Taehyung: Hey, hey, are you alright?
The voice pulled her back to the present. Taehyung, who had been sitting nearby, immediately rushed to her side. His expression was a mix of concern and fear. He sat on the bed and hugged her tightly.
Taehyung: You're shaking. What happened? Did you have a nightmare?
Y/N: huhh.. Yes.. Worst nightmare of my life
Taehyung: What happened in that dream?
Before Y/N could respond, the door to her chamber opened, and King Jin stepped inside. His sharp eyes scanned the room, immediately taking note of Y/N's disheveled state and Taehyung's protective stance.
Jin: What's going on here?
He asked, his voice laced with concern.
Taehyung: She had a nightmare. It was intense, but I think she's okay now.
Jin approached the bed, his expression softening as he looked at his sister.
Jin: Y/Naa are you alright? You look pale.
Y/N: It was just a dream (she said quickly, trying to brush it off) I'm fine, really.
Jin's gaze sharpened. He knows her every move. He raised her. So it was very easy for him to guess that she was lying.
Jin: Just a dream? You look like you've seen death itself.
Y/N hesitated, glancing at Taehyung, who gave her a reassuring nod.
Jin: It was about him
she admitted.
Y/N: About Taehyung. There was a war, and...
Jin's expression darkened, and he folded his arms.
Jin: Taehyung is one of the strongest leaders I know. He's faced worse and come out victorious. You need to trust him-and his instincts.
Taehyung nodded.
Taehyung: Exactly. I won't fall so easily, Darling. You know me better than that.
Jin placed a hand on Y/N's shoulder.
Jin: Dreams can be unsettling, but they're just that-dreams. Don't let them cloud your judgment or weigh you down.
Y/N nodded slowly, trying hide as much as she can. The vividness of the dream and its alignment with the book she had read left her unsettled. Her heart was getting heavier and heavier minute by minute, day by day.
