"So, you love me, huh?" I asked cheekily, grinning from ear to ear, tilting and bending my head lower to catch his eye contact.
But he seemed unfazed while scrolling through his phone.
He hasn't even bothered to acknowledge me when I am acting like a damn child desperate to get to talk to him before reaching home.

I don't like his cold behavior towards me as if I am just an object like that car door or the seatbelt.

I just smiled widely because I succeeded in irritating him.
His face slowly changed from irritation to astonishment.
He scrunched his nose up and asked while moving away from me a little bit.
"Why are you sometimes creepy as hell?" He asked while moving away as if I were a germ.
"How dare you treat me like some germ?" I asked angrily before moving closer to him, closing our distance to take revenge on him.

I moved my face near his face, my face looking serious and my eyebrows bent down in a big frown as a sign of my anger.
His playful expression turned into something that I couldn't decipher.

Despite being unknowingly seduced, I forced my eyes up into his eyes.

Suddenly, he burst out laughing, his laughter making my heart flutter.
I unknowingly smiled without any reason.

When his laughter subsided, he turned to me.
"Is it the best you could come up with?" He asked chuckling.
"Yeah! So what? I thought it was 'SAVAGE'" I said quoting the words by my hands.

"Don't get me wrong. But you should improve your 'SO-CALLED-SAVAGE'" He said teasingly.
Oh My God! I don't know that he was capable of being this playful.
After a few minutes of chuckling, we went back to the same cold state we were in before entering the car.
There is not much time before we reach home.
That too when my driver will leave me first before driving Samuel home.

"Samuel?" I lowly whispered to the level where even my ears failed to pick it up properly.
When I was about to call him loudly this time, he answered me.
"Mm?" He said while focusing his attention on me before leaving his phone.
My eyes widened at how sharp his ears are.

"What's with this expression of yours?" He asked raising one eyebrow in question.
I quickly shook my head.
"It's that I am amazed by the hearing quality of your ears. it's unfair, you know? Yours are very sharp while mine can't even pick the words I say sometimes." I complained, narrowing my eyebrows and folding my hands in front of my chest.
"Did you call me to test my ear?" He asked folding his arms in front of his chest just like me.
"Of Course, not. Why would I?" I replied immediately.
"Then why the hell you called me?" He spoke loudly from which I am convinced he has some anger management issues.
"It's that...... It's that, can we be friends?" I asked closing my eyes tightly from seeing a possible volcano in front of me and biting my lip to shut me up.
Silence.........
A few seconds passed.......
Again silence......
A few minutes passed..........
Again again silence.........
I still haven't gathered the courage to open my eyes.
But my eyes automatically opened when a warm breath blew across my face.
My eyes literally bulged out of their sockets to find Samuel this close to me out of nowhere.
I am not prepared for this.
He was looking deep into my eyes, like finding my soul in the darkness filled body.
I was so much immersed in losing myself in his eyes when I was suddenly startled by his deep, low voice which sent goosebumps all over my body.
I visibly gulped.
"Don't!" He said in a hoarse voice laced with seductive lotion.
"Huh?" I blinked in confusion.
"Don't look at me like that" He said still staring intently at me.
"Like what?" I asked finally finding my tiny voice.
"Innocently!" that word actually sounded like a shaky breath which took my breath away.
