After the battle Seven went to see Maddox, his mask was once again destroyed. It has been changed a couple of times due to his surging mental power. They even need to add more Vermil since one won't be enough to hold his energy.
He had a sour look on his face and Maddox just looked at him and chuckle. He knew exactly why he was upset.
"you just finished the watching the battle didn't you?" the crease forming on his forehead worsen. His mouth upturn refusing to talk.
"you're annoyed because you couldn't properly used your ability and the infuser which you thought would help you but didn't, yet work on other and now you saw Magus used it to his hearts extent" he added, this time Seven no longer looked at him, his teeth gnashing one another.
The new particle gun was suggested by him but his purpose wasn't to help others but to actually help him make his ability stronger.
This device wasn't even limited to a gun, they tried different weapons including sword, a katana, a saber, a spear, a dagger, even bow and arrow but none worked for him.
He tried so hard to think of other things like a wand, a staff anything related to magic, still failed. He then tried musical instruments but nothing help him at all.
He was so sad and frustrated that he didn't come out of his room for a whole day and list out all the possible things that could help his ability.
In the end, all his attempts failed. He wasn't in the mood to do anything, even when he received the award for creating this device and was promoted as specialist in the army he still couldn't bring himself to smile.
Whenever he look at the starnet, praise and thanks were written for him, after all it wasn't only the army that benefits from his ideas, those from the academy, the auxiliary treatment majoring in medicines, music and cooking were also able to used it.
The emperor himself called him to give his thanks, Seven's idea could be applied to any other device that even his crown and staff could be used to fuse his ability.
Even Marshall Wimbroase directly adjusted his mecha so he can infuse his flame ability on them and now he had truly become Apollo who was famous in Greek methodology for his flaming chariot.
Even the loathsome Magus could used it so easily, this only further strengthen his abilities.
He would glare at everyone in the military whenever they thank him for his ideas would end up asking why he didn't used any infuser. Thankfully no one could see it thanks to his mask.
The more annoyed he is, the more mask he destroyed, it was a good thing that Maddox prepared so many of it.
"I don't know what I should do Teacher, I been using it everyday but the size was still this small" he complained, since the day he cried the wall had built around him already fall down for the two. He would act more childish and would ask them for help.
He raised his hand and showed a small black hole that was enough to fit him if he were to crawl upon entering. His ability hadn't level up in the past years which is bothering him. If this continues wouldn't his ability became useless. He had felt that this ability didn't truly belong to him especially when he tried to used it, it was like a force was stopping him from fully utilizing this ability.
"we can't really help it, this ability is the only one in the whole alliance, even the neighboring planet don't have a clue of what it was."he explained, this was his first time being stuck in a research study. This just proves that even the genius Zalric Maddox will stumbled on something. But he didn't gave up, he believe that nothing in this empire is unsolvable, he just need to look at a different perspective.
Seven sigh, he actually thought of entering the black hole but the idea on his mind might cause him his life. After all this very same black hole cause him to be reborn in this world. He was also sure that they wouldn't agree. But there was something about the black hole that seemed connected to him somehow, it was like it's calling him.
"anyways thanks for the mask, I'll just continue training for the mean time, goodbye" he bid his farewell and secretly said his sorry. He was going to do something crazy tonight.

Night came and Seven put on a barrier on his room using his spiritual power because the sound proofing might not be enough.
He mobilize his mental powers and saw two figure sneaking out, this shock him because the two was actually Cross and Maddox, he heard them "are you sure Seven wouldn't find out"... "yes I made sure to keep it a secret"
"are they dating?" this shock Seven but immediately felt happy, with the two out together Seven can do what he wanted tonight. As for whether they were dating or not it doesn't matter, as long as their happy it was fine. The two went inside Cross mecha and fly away.
He waited for a few minutes before activating the blackhole. He took a deep breath and lie down on his front before crawling inside the black hole.
All his surroundings was dark but he didn't feel scared or lost. A part of him was saying to just continued. He stands up and walked ahead. He didn't know how long he had walked but he didn't feel any exhaustion.
After a while he could finally see a small dim light, he immediately run towards the source. He saw the light become bigger and brighter.
He run even faster, he could feel the wind blowing his skin and his hair. The warmth welcomed him making him feel comfortable. He reached the end and he was blinded by the bright light for a bit.
He waited for a bit to adjust his eyes, then he slowly open them making his lashes tremble.
"so.... Beautiful!!" this was the only thing he could say, the scene in front of him was picturesque, like it came out of a fantasy book. He was at loss for words.
He looked around and saw luscious flowers and plants around, they were bursting with and were full of life. The sky was bright and the sun basked those underneath with a relaxing warmth. On one side there was a waterfalls, it was serene and look like diamond were glittering all over it.
He couldn't help but wonder what this place is, whether this was a dream or he had already died the moment he enter here. He walk around and saw fruits he had never seen before. He continued walking along a path until he reached a broken castle.
The castle was huge, it wa far more bigger than the empire's castle. If it weren't broken the this would look magical. He move closer to the metal doors, embedded on it were jewels of different colors align perfectly to make it look like an image of people and beasts.
He touched the door and felt a warmth sensation, a sound rang and the door suddenly opened. Contrary to the outside the inside was preserved well, it was luxurious and was lit with intricate chandeliers, you couldn't even see a speck of dust, everything was clean and polished.
On the floor lay a red long carpet that seem endless, he didn't venture the place but followed where the carpet would lead. A long the way he saw paintings of magical beast that remindes him of his past life. Statues of people with similar appearance on the door.
As he reach the end of the carpet what welcome him was another door made with white crystal. There was a passage on the hall written in a different language but for some reason who could read it.
"The lucky one shall once again enter this hall and awaken his servant, reliving them from the the agonizing pain of being forgotten and the shackle of time that binds them." he stated, the moment he said those words the door began to banish. He felt a strong surge of energy coming from the room.
Inside the hall, people were kneeling and had their heads bow down, they look up and said
" we have been waiting for your arrival, Master"
After hearing this their, Seven began to feel an aching throb on his temples, his eyesight become hazy. The light that was blinding began to dim until the room was engulfed with darkness.
Seven lost his consciousness and drifted onto nothingness, he was un aware of what was happening in his surroundings.
