Standing in front of the now invisible Hunter were three robed men, standing above a mutilated corpse. The men had on dark blue robes with a black hypnotic insignia stitched into the right chest pocket.
"This fucker gave us more trouble than he was worth," one of the men said while he stretched out his arms nonchalantly.
"The pay should be more than last time though" one of the other men chuckled.
'What kind of dark shit have I walked into' Hunter thought to himself.
Backing away slowly, Hunter moved inch by inch, too scared in the moment to full-on sprint out of the alley. Not looking behind him, Hunter backed into a poorly sealed trash bag.
*Ting*
Hunter's face paled as a small tin can fell from the opening of the trash bag, making a small, metallic noise as it fell.
"What was that!" One of the men turned around to face Hunter's direction, unable to see anything but the dark, damp alleyway.
Hunter covered his mouth to muffle his staggered breathing. Taking another step back, Hunter heard a dreadful sound that made his legs weaken.
*Crunch*
Hunter had stepped back onto the tin can that had fallen out of the bag, flattening it completely.
"Well well, looky here," one of the men said, a smile was seen under his dark cloak. "We have ourselves a rat"
"Number 10, no witnesses, kill em" One of the men standing in the back said.
As soon as he spoke, one of the men bolted forward in the direction of the crushed can, which Hunter was still standing on.
'Oh, shit' Hunter thought.
"Jagged Dagger!" The man running forward shouted.
A sword protruded from the man's hand, the blade was chipped and jagged, looking like it was meant to maim flesh rather than cut through it.
The man named number 10 swung his sword above the crushed can, where Hunter was standing. Ducking below the sword, Hunter narrowly missed the unforgiving edge of the blade.
*Ding*

'Shoot, not much time left, I need to get out of here!' Hunter thought.
"It doesn't look like they're here anymore" The man holding the blade said as he walked past Hunter to the other two men.
"Let's get out of here before the guards show up" the man standing in back ordered the other two.
'He seems to be in charge, it looks like the other two are following his orders' Hunter thought to himself.
"But number 5, what if they saw our faces, it could jeopardize us!" the man walking back to the other two said as his jagged blade started to disappear back into his hand.
"With our hoods and the darkness covering us the chances of them identifying us is small," Number 5 said calmly to 10.
The three of the blue-cloaked men then jumped from the ground to the roof and ran off into the night.

[Unsummoning Shadow Cloak]
The cloak dissolved into the darkness, revealing the wide-eyed Hunter, trembling from how close to death he just was.
After regaining his composure, Hunter walked over to the mutilated corpse. Looking down at the torn-up body, Hunter saw that the man was once dressed in fancy clothing, now torn to shreds.
Bloodshot, lifeless eyes looked back up at Hunter, giving him an uneasy stomach. Not used to seeing such a nasty scene, Hunter soon threw up the food he had been enjoying throughout the day.
Hunter decided that he needed to run back to the safety of the Academy in case the men decided to come back and check for him. Before he could leave a loud shout sounded in the quiet alley.
"Freeze! Raise your hands above your head and face me!"
Turning around, Hunter saw a group of men dressed in metallic armor, all of them manifested their abilities which were pointed at Hunter.
"Were the city guard, stand down and we will take you into custody!" A large man who stood out from the rest stepped towards Hunter.
"Look, it's not what you think, I just happened to pass by and I saw this grou..." Hunter quickly tried to talk his way out of the situation.
"Silence! We will question you at our headquarters!" The large man cut off Hunter's plea.
Deciding that he didn't want to risk running away and getting killed, Hunter silently allowed the men to arrest him.
Walking in the dark of night, Hunter and the guards walked in silence to the guard's headquarters.
Hunter was placed in a room with no windows, just hard rock surrounding him as he was tied to a chair. Not resisting the men tying him up, Hunter kept silent through the whole procedure.
After the guards left, Hunter was left alone with his own thoughts.
'I'm sure they will release me once they realize the mistake, I'm sure of it' Hunter tried to reassure himself.
As he was thinking in silence, the singular door in the room opened up to reveal the large man without his helmet on.
"Hunter Rowan, I am the captain of the city Holland" The man spoke while staring at a sheet of paper, "and you are charged with the suspected murder of a noble".
