Chapter 8 - Ch. 8 Go To The Werewolf Realm

"Vlinder! Where have you been? It's been a while, isn't it?"

The butterfly named Vlinder by Aria was no ordinary butterfly. The butterfly had a yellowish tint and created a gold sparkle every time it flapped its wings.

What's even more impressive was that Aria could communicate with this butterfly. Not communicate as she did with Meryl or with anyone else. But Aria felt she could understand what Vlinder wanted to say and vice versa.

"How did you know I was going to the werewolf realm?" Aria raised her index finger to let Vlinder perch on her finger. "I know it's risky, and I might not make it. But I have to save him."

Aria stretched her legs and sat casually to wait for everyone to go to their respective homes and lock their doors.

No one dared to leave the house after sunset because only when there was no sun did the rogue vampire dare to go out to hunt prey.

Unlike the purebloods or noble vampires in the Eternal Empire, the rogue vampire's body will slowly turn to ashes when exposed to sunlight. Therefore, all beings in the four realms will still be safe during the day when the sun offers its protection to the ends of the earth.

"I'm sorry. I won't listen to you this time. His life matters more than mine." Aria raised her hand higher as if she didn't want to talk to Vlinder anymore.

After letting Vlinder fly and circle her head while trying to persuade her not to go, Aria closed her eyes, hoping the sun would set sooner.

Several hours later, the voices around Aria became silent as if there were no creatures. As the sun was about to set, Aria jumped down from the tree unharmed. Then she immediately ate the blue pill Meryl gave her and plunged into the river.

Aria continued to dive and had a hard time seeing where the portal door was because there was barely any light to help her.

Just as she was about to give up, a water bubble shone with a golden yellow color with Vlinder flying within, causing Aria to open her mouth wide.

Aria instantly closed her mouth again as soon as she felt the river water enter her mouth up to her throat.

Blah! It tasted disgusting, but she didn't have time to complain. She looked at the magical butterfly who was now telling her to follow it.

Aria happily followed where Vlinder's water bubble was diving, and not long after, Aria could see a black ring the size of a cave door.

Vlinder told her to put her hand towards the ring, and Aria complied. As soon as her hand touched the black portal, a blue light appeared on the circle's diameter.

Convinced that the portal to the werewolf realm was activated, Aria dived into the blue light and passed through the portal.

The water around her appeared cleaner and brighter in the next second, making her feel sure that she was now in the ocean.

At the same time, the white Alpha was cuddling with his childhood sweetheart while gazing at the beautiful full moon.

"Isn't this night lovely?"

"I couldn't agree more."

Letti giggled at his comment. "When did you disagree with me? You always agree with whatever I say."

"What can I say? Everything you said was the truth."

"Then… when will you mark me?"

Lyod smiled gently at his lover, then raised one hand to caress the girl's soft cheek. His thumb felt the softness of his lover's cheek and moved until it came to Leticia's lips.

Lyod's face shifted closer, and he planted his warm lips on the sweet ones. What started gently turned fierce and intense. Their tongue swirled sensual dancing, and they drifted into deep passion and lust.

Lyod trailed his lips to her jaw and down to her nape. He felt his canine ached and let them grow. He opened his mouth widely to get ready to mark what belonged to him.

But when he was about to puncture his canine to her delicate shoulder, his body tensed and stopped. At the same time, Aria's head emerged from the ocean and swam to the shore while gasping for air.

Even though she could breathe underwater thanks to the blue pill, Aria still preferred to save her breath when she dived. She didn't know when the blue pill would wear off, and she didn't want to risk spending its effects on the first trip.

It was so exhausting! If only she could scream at the moment, Aria would scream as loud as she could.

Back to the lovebirds, Lyod distanced himself and looked towards the ocean as if someone from the sea was calling him.

"Lyod? What's wrong?"

Lyod did not react and focused his sight and hearing on the ocean for a moment. Who called him? Who lives in the sea?

To his knowledge, no one lived by the ocean, and hardly any pack members went there.

Then who had called him?

"Lyod? Was there an attack?"

Lyod shook his head and pulled Letti's shoulders into his embrace. "It's nothing."

Letti pouted cutely while dancing her fingers in a circle in front of Lyon's toned chest.

"You delayed my marking again."

Lyod chuckled in amusement as he gently stroked the top of Letti's head. "I'm sorry, darling. Let's wait for my ceremonial. I promised I would mark you the night of my birthday if I'm still mateless."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

Letti smiled with satisfaction and wrapped her arms around her lover's waist while inhaling an irresistible masculine scent. She felt full and content with her life. She couldn't wait to be a Luna… this man's Luna.

"Letty. Why are you doing this? You are willing to be with me as long as I haven't found my mate. But what if I meet my mate on my birthday?"

"Hush now. We all know you can't find your mate all these three years, which means your mate comes from the human race. Do you want a lowly human to be your Luna?"

"Of course not."

"Then don't worry. I will be your and your only Luna in this realm."

Lyod smiled in agreement, but deep down, his wolf told him that soon, he would find his mate.
