Divyat has been taking a lot of breaths lately, it was a coping mechanism to deal with all of the crazy things that have been happening lately. But where it get really crazy is the fact, he has been the architect of his own insanity. Nevertheless, he got the feeling that if he was not ready and prepared for what was heading for him, he would probably end up dead if not outrightly defeated, and as far as Cao Man was concerned, Divyat was not sure defeat was a part of their deal…. The consequences for failure was not something he was ready to face at the moment.
His heart gave a little twinge in warning as thoughts of going against Cao Man surfaced, he quickly buried them as the pain such thoughts brought was absolutely not worth it. The lamia and her friends began to slowly circle him, prompting Divyat to raise an eyebrow in surprise, but it was not a gesture that was lost on the Lamia as she too smiled and asked him in amusement.
"What? Did you think that this was going to be a 1 on 1 fight? Now where would the fun be in that." And then she rushed at him, her serpentine body giving her more speed, flexibility and maneuverability than Divyat was used to. He rushed at her too, jumping into the air to send a straight punch to her face when she twisted her body and sent a massive trunk smashing into his chest. There was way more power in her body than Divyat expected as he was blasted backwards, his body going head over heels on the ground like some beach ball.
But he was in the middle of a fight, he knew not to dwell too long on being on the back foot. He rolled to the left, and not a moment too soon as a clawed feet smashed down into the area where his head previously occupied. A wild slash down his back from the nape of his neck pushed him forwards to a spinning back hand that threw him across the ground, right back in the direction of the Lamia who uncurled herself like a spring, and used her tail to smash into Divyat again.
The impact was crazy painful, but Divyat had no intention of being tossed around like some children's toy. He grabbed a hold of her tail and dug his heels into the ground. They skidded, raising dust as he leveraged his above average strength to pull the lamia of her feet, throwing her sideways towards the edge of the floating island. She dug a clawed hand into the ground, digging furrow with which she used to bring her momentum to a halt, he used the inertial from throwing her to twist his body into the air as he whipped his leg into the approaching form of one of the Rakshasa twins, slamming her into the ground as he turned and caught the brother's outstretched claws in his hands.
He winced in pain but rolled with it as he fell backwards, pulling and throwing the Rakshasa over his head with their hands still locked together. Lian reed had his back smashed into the ground, and hard enough that he couldn't help but cry out as he reflexively released Divyat's hand. The only response Divyat gave to that was to throw his foot forwards, right into the face of Yang Bi, who was thrown back into Lian Rae. Divyat quickly got up and grabbed the still rising Lian Reed up by putting his head under his armpit.
Divyat did not stand on ceremony as he lifted the Rakshasa off the ground and fell back again, this time making sure Lian Reed's head smashed heavily into the ground. Even if it does not kill him, it should daze him long enough that Divyat would focus on his sister and Yang Bi. And his intuition was spot on as a pool of blood quickly gathered under Lian Reed's head while he gave soft groans and struggled to get up. So far, Divyat had avoided using any of his techniques and neither has his opponents. Perhaps, they would continue like that, however, there was something he has been able to notice about yang Bi, Lian reed and Lian Rae…. None of them were in the foundation establishment realm.
In fact after exchanging blows with them and seeing how strong the trio were, he knew without a doubt from the feel of their Qi and the hardness of their punches. They were all within the Qi condensation realm, and that was invariably without a doubt….out of his expectations. He would have to take this a little more seriously if he wanted to have any hope of defeating them, or at least surviving their onslaught should they also decide to get serious. And serious they did as wisps of lightning could be seen dancing around Lian Rae's fist as she rushed towards him.
Divyat was not exactly sure what to do, Lightning and Earth subdued the water element, and he couldn't put up his own techniques for a match against hers as he would definitely lose. Plus lightning was definitely the fastest attacking elements, he would not be able to dodge much less come up with a counter attack of his own, but then again, why should it matter, he'll just take the hit and literally roll with the punches.
He jumped up, dodging a low sweep from yang Bi as Lian Rae smashed her feet down, yelling in anger in the process at the state of her brother, which was probably understandable. If Nivgyat was still alive and if he was here with him, there would be no small amount of ferocity that Divyat would bring to the table just to protect his brother. He crossed his arms and took the lightning covered fist, sucking in a deep breath as Qi unlike another flowed forwards like a dragon into and through his meridians. There was a flash of light for a second before it was completely replaced by a sonic boom and the sounds of an explosion as Divyat was slammed hard into the ground.
There was silence everywhere as all who observed waited with baited breaths. After all they all needed to know…..was the human still alive?.
