Divyat rolled out of the dust, making his way up to his feet with a stumbling gait. He wouldn't lie, he was rocked and totally and completely off his game. Fang Bin, Liang Rae and Liang Reed knew how to work well with each other, and with their age not being known Divyat would bet his left eye on it that they have been training together for years, probably from childhood too as they all look relatively young. But their combat awareness was on a whole other level, and until the destruction of the divine sky sect; an event that had forced him to face the reality of life and live from one battle to another.
With all of the fights he has been in so far, and the lives he has taken, it had helped refined his abilities and battle awareness and help him utilize his power properly. But ultimately, Fang Bin and her cronies had experience, and with the way they fought, it was obvious they had experience in ganging up on someone. Divyat crossed his hands just in time to receive a whip lash from Fang Bin's tail. He was pushed backwards, his heels digging into the ground as he struggled to keep his footing.
The twins came from the left and right, flanking him with both fist and foot pointed at his head. Fang Bin took full advantage of the opening and pressed the attack, her jaws opened wide to epic proportions as if to completely swallow Divyat in one fell swoop. He was backed up against the edge of the island, which eliminated any part of escape for him, so he was left with no other option but to accept defeat. However, for Divyat, getting him to not just admit defeat but be defeated by people within his own power level and scale would be downright impossible.
So he moved forwards angling his neck and chest straight into Fang Bin's bite. Her fangs pierced deeply into his body just as the attack of the twins reached him. However, of the three he could only choose to take one attack on, as for the remaining two he came up with suitable counter's for them as he utilized the [Rain Dancer Fist: Lover's Rain] with both hands. His icy qi surged forwards from deep within him, riding on the throes of his adrenaline and battle high as an illusory fist made of silvery blue water blasted out of his clenched fists to smash into the bodies of both Lian Rae and Lian Reed.
The twins crashed into the ground, pained moans escaping from their lips as blood pooled on their chest from where Divyat's attack had landed. Within that same instance, Fang Bin's inertial had pushed Divyat a couple of feet backwards as his hand grabbed onto her two massive fangs stuck in his body and pulled it out. He was about to press his attack when he felt the entire body of Fang Bin shiver and stiffen up, he looked up to see a dribble of blood pouring from the side of her lips, and following close behind it were tiny wisps of fog that spoke volumes of an intense cold.
He dropped her body to the ground with a grunt as he stood up to his full height, his wounds closing, but much slower than he was capable of due to how extensive his injuries were. However, even though he just wanted to lay down on the ground and sleep, he still kept a stoic face and stood unshaken, in front of the hundreds of competitors still in front of him. He rolled his shoulders and moved forwards, watching impassively as the tattoos that denoted Fang Bin and the twins as apprentice bandit boss faded away and Divyat's own tattoo become a lot more pronounced and polished to the point of glowing.
He heard a rustle behind him, causing him to quickly turn around and faced Fang Bin whom had struggled back up to her feet. Though from the looks of things she barely made it. Her body let off shivers at intervals. But even at that, with her total and complete defeat there was a look of fierceness in her eyes that just refused to go out, like a spark that would take more than just a well fought defeat in front of hundreds to bring down. Then much to Divyat's surprise she bowed, as low as her serpentine body would allow her.
"My people respect strength above everything else, whether they be demon or demi-human, or human. And I am a woman of my word, both I and Lian Rae and Lian Reed submit to your power and authority. Regardless of the outcome of this trials, I humbly ask you consider taking me on as a permanent member of whatever bandit group you decided to make." Divyat cocked his head to the side then said.
"I'm just a weapon that belongs to someone else, I don't have any intention of making a bandit group, I just want to be done with this trial and get a good night sleep." He said with his exhaustion bleeding into his voice, however, all Fang Bin did was give him a stiff nod as she went past him to face the rest of the competitors, weak as she was, her Qi seemed to billow of her form and hang in the air.
"I will make this easier on all of us, so that we can pretty much just move on to the next step. Amongst all of you, there's only three individuals that can defeat me, and that is by virtue of the fact that you all have a higher cultivation realm than me. As for the others I'd rather not want to come after you, because it would not be with the intention to defeat, but with an intent to kill. So let's avoid losing any more of our people, there will be a place for all of you and a chance for the weak to rise to power if fate and destiny will it. But that can only be so if we're alive…. So I will only say one word to you all…..Submit!"
