"Why would she do that?" I wondered aloud.
"I have no idea." Said Bjorn. "You would have to find out from her by yourself."
I exhaled deeply; Bjorn had successfully caused my head to go into a spin. To say that I was surprised was a gross underestimation. It felt like he was playing games with me
"I think she is in love with you," Bjorn added. "She would not waste such potent magic on someone she did not feel deeply for."
I chuckled. "Is that why you asked if I cast a spell on her?"
Bjorn nodded back. "Kara does not do anything for anybody; I find it hard to believe that she does not have some elaborate motive."
"She does not want anything from me," I said defensively. He was beginning to get on my nerves; at first, he explained that it was a huge gesture that should make me joyful, and now he also wanted me to be wary about it.
