The cool breeze from the trees in the forest enveloped the air. Andor was still on the floor. He had stopped moving. It seemed like he was completely dead.
"Okay. I agree." Said Marius. I was shocked. I did not feel like it would work. But I accepted it. If it was the best chance of saving Andor's life, it was the right call.
"Is he dead already?" Asked Antonio. "He does not seem to be moving."
"He must be dead." Said Magery. "What a pity. After all the effort that it took her to get to him. To have it end this way, I feel sorry for her."
Hot tears poured down my cheek. But, I had to hold out hope that he would be alright. He had not been stabbed by a sliver blade or anything poisonous. All he had was blunt force trauma to the head. He was a powerful werewolf that had every chance of surviving. I even prayed in my bones that he was pretending to be dead and gathering his strength to survive.
