IRIS.
Marius kept peering into my face. My heart thumped against my chest. I had trouble meeting his eyes. I did not want to be put under a spell.
"I still can not believe that you came back to me." He said.
He had started addressing me as Ophelia once more. This time, it did not make me uncomfortable. His gaze sent warmth through my spine.
"I am not her," I said.
"If you say so." He replied.
"Am I a part of your meeting?" I asked.
Marius laughed. "Of course. If you want to be there, no one would say anything."
I shook my head. "It is not just that. I do not want a situation where I ask that Andor is spared, and Hannah shoves a sword through my stomach. There is no need to go. I am not one of you." I said
"But, I asked you to come with me. We both know that one here would touch you anyways. My family knows how much you mean to me." Marius explained.
