IRIS.
The next day Marius came to my room first thing in the morning. He knocked on the door gently until I stood up and opened it for him. He had a massive grin on his face.
"Do you want to go somewhere with me?"
I was tired of staying indoors; I had become accustomed to only seeing the back of the heads of the guards in charge of looking after me.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"I have a meeting. I thought you would like to accompany me." He replied.
"Who are you meeting?" I said.
"Old friends,"
"How old?"
"You could use ancient to describe them," Marius said. "We were turned around at the same time. There is give or take fifty years between us."
"You want to take me around your old friends? All the older adults that I know are judgemental. I will sit there wondering what they are thinking about. It does not sound like I would have any fun there." I explained.
