I woke up in a green field stretched until it kissed the blue sky. The air was fresh, with every breath exciting my senses.
Confused, I tried to get up but felt light like a feather. The last thing I remembered was everyone standing over my body, waiting for me to die after making me ingest something that felt like poison. Was I dead?
"No. You are not." A familiar voice replied.
I saw my father, Halden Magnus, glide down from the sky. It made me feel dizzier. If I was seeing my father, it could only mean that I was either dead or close to dying. Neither was good.
My so called family poisoned me, they preached to me about trust and how I was paranoid about them harming me while I ate. They didn't even have the courtesy to fight me like men, especially Bjorn, who goes around acting like he was nobler than the rest of us and could never stoop to our level.
