I was grateful that King Andrew understood that he was dealing with a werewolf who could shift anytime he wanted. If he didn't fulfill his part of the deal, I could as we'll come back and rip out the throats of everyone in his court; no amount of preparation would be able to stop me.
He examined the consequences of working with me in his mind before he answered my question.
"King Percy. The King of Mercia. He threatened to start a war with me over trade routes we shared equally." King Andrew replied.
"I prayed to God for a solution, and you showed up." He continued.
"God sent you a solution that you hate?" I asked.
"Yes. He believes we are all one, so my hate for your kind is on my soul alone. I will not lose a solution to a problem because of my feelings. The result will be a war, and I care about my people."
