I got out of the medical facility and proceeded to make my way back to my room.
It took a whole night of rest to heal myself from the aura exhaustion.
I got inside and see Lawrence in casual clothing.
"Oh, how are you feeling?"
"Fine, my body feels a little bit sore but moving it is not that painful anymore"
"Good, good, also Ms. Leah came by earlier and got what you asked for" He then points at a box placed on a table
"Nice," I then make my way towards the table.
Inside the box were 5 pouches full of gold.
I then make a small smile and was going to count the gold inside.
"May I ask something Kayn?"
I then look at Lawrence slightly confused.
"Sure,"
"Why didn't you ask Ms. Leah for a special weapon art or some sort of technique to increase your power? I mean gold is nice but aren't your father rich? you can just ask him for money you know?"
"Honestly speaking, asking for a weapon art might have been a good idea, since my sword chant has limited uses and I can barely use it, but I had other plans in mind," I thought to myself.
"To mend my mistakes, Lawrence" I reply to him with a smile.
Lawrence was perplexed.
I smile at him then turn to the box and started counting the gold.
"Well, Kayn see you in a month, I'm planning to go back home now to see my family"
"Alright then, have a safe trip, Lawrence," I said to him while counting the gold.
I then hear the door open and close behind me.
After putting the box down on the floor, I see a note that was beneath it.
I grab the note and proceeded to read it.
"The Academy of Ambition will be forever grateful to Student Kayn for his courage and talent"
I roll my eyes and put the note back on the table.
"I have no need for your flatteries," I thought to myself.
I then hear a knock on the door.
I make my way to it and open it.
A knight appeared before me that bore the crest of House Lynine
The knight then bows at me.
"Young master, we are the knights that your father sent to escort you back"
The knight then raises his head then looks at me and made a strange face.
"What?"
"Young master, I advise taking a bath and wearing a more appealing outfit"
I then look at my uniform and see that it was full of dried blood and reeked of sweat.
I nod and close the door and proceeded to take a bath and got dressed in casual clothes.
I was now wearing a leather black shirt paired with grey leggings
I then quickly packed my belongings into my backpack, it took less than 10 minutes because I didn't really have many things to bring with me back home.
I then open the door and see the back of the knight who was waiting for me, he was guarding the door.
"I finished packing, let's go," I said to the knight
The knight then turned around and made the strange face he made earlier.
"Now what?" I ask him
"Young master, I say this with no offense but your sense of fashion has changed"
I then let out a sigh.
Nobles in this world tend to dress in clothes that looked extravagant, they wear coats that were made from the skin of frost hounds, shirts and leggings that are carved from the hide of a brumal boar, basically, nobles in this world like to show off and the past Kayn was no different.
"No offense taken, can you escort me now to the carriage?"
The knight then nods and gestures for me to follow.
I follow the knight and not a moment too soon we arrive at the carriage.
The carriage had 4 knights surrounding it that bore the crest of Lynine and when they saw my face they immediately bowed.
Back then I couldn't sense their aura but now that I am able to, I can confidently say that the Knights of Lynine are no joke, every single one of the knights had yellow aura and was clearly refined well with aura meditation.
"Raise your head" I order them
The 4 knights then raise their heads and look at me.
"Your aura is quite strong, Young master," One of the knights says to me.
"It is still lacking in many ways" I quickly reply to him
The knight was slightly shocked.
I brush it off and made my way to the carriage.
"I will be aura meditating inside, don't bother me unless it's an emergency" I order them.
They all nod and I enter the carriage.
