I awoke to the sound of knocking on my door,
"Student Kayn, please get ready I will guide you to your new room in 30 minutes" A voice was heard from the other side of the door.
"Ye-yes" I replied while going to the bathroom to bathe myself, after 10 minutes I got out and fully clothed myself with the Academy Uniform.
I opened the door and saw a man that wore the same uniform as mine but was white and bore no stars on his crest and instead had a scroll symbol.
This means he was a teacher at the academy.
"Took you long enough, come follow me," He said with clear annoyance in his voice.
I grabbed my suitcases filled with my clothes and belongings that were sent to me by my father, It also contained a letter from my personal maid Lina, wishing me good luck and congratulating me.
Lina was the only maid in House Lynine that was nice to Kayn probably because she was there when Kayn was born and saw him grow up, and even when the old Kayn became somewhat of a dick when his mother died, she still was kind to him.
"Damn, Kayn you should've treated her better," I thought to myself.
"Hurry up!" I heard the teacher shout at me in the hall.
"Ye-yes sir" I quickly reply while running to catch up to him in the hall.
After a bit of walking, we arrived at the building, and after a bit more walking we arrived at the room.
"Here's, your room, your roommate is already inside, at 10 am, you are required to go to the Ambition Theater"
I nod and the teacher leaves,
I put my handle on the door and start to open it.
What greeted me was a man who had the same uniform as me, he had black hair, brown eyes, and had the same physique as me.
"Hello," I greet him while gesturing for a handshake.
"Oh hi, my name is Lawrence," he reaches for my hand.
"Hi, my name is Kayn Lynine"
"huh? you- you're a noble"
"yes? why?"
"I'm just a commoner, is that a problem?" he asks with fear in his voice
"huh? no, not at all" I reply with indifference.
He lets a big sigh of relief,
I look at the room and see that the room is quite large, there is a bathroom, a bunk bed to the side, a large cabinet, and one window on the other side.
"I get the bottom bed"
"Ok-okay"
I put my clothes and other belongings in the cabinet and look out the window, I see a lot of students mingling and talking to each other.
The room that I'm currently residing in is on the 3rd floor of the First-Year building.
"Students, please proceed your way to the Theater" A loud voice suddenly echoes throughout the school.
"Do you know the way to the Theater?" I ask Lawrence.
He nods and I follow him,
We arrived inside the Theater, the inside of the Theater was ginormous, it can easily take the thousands of different students in the whole Academy.
In the very middle was a platform with a podium, and chairs with teachers sitting.
I look for a seat in the very back row and sat on it.
Lawrence also followed me and sat right next to me.
A couple of minutes pass by as more and more students enter the Theater.
Not long after the Theater is full of lively students, It was quite loud as many students were still talking to their friends.
"Quiet down" A voice suddenly echoes through the Theater, the students immediately stop talking to each other, and the Theater was now quiet,
"The headmaster will now enter and give us a speech"
I saw a man in his 40s enter, he was ripped, I know if you took out the white uniform he was wearing, he could easily win on Mr. Olympia.
"Students of Ambition, It is another year of education and learning for us, We expect nothing but discipline and hard work from you, Do not embarrass us, and remember that the crest of ambition rest on your shoulders, That is all."
"A short but powerful speech," I thought to myself.
Another teacher then goes up to the podium while the headmaster sits on a chair behind it.
"First-Year students, please follow Ms. Melinda to your classroom"
Ms. Melinda then stands up from one of those many chairs behind the podium,
She had blonde hair, and green eyes, wearing the female uniform of the academy but instead of black it was white and had a scroll symbol instead of a star beside the crest.
She was a beauty, a legit 8/10.
"All First-Year Aura Students, Kindly stand up please" She ordered us, It seems that the crest that the teachers have, has some kind of voice amplifier magic.
All of the First-Year Aura Students then stood up, including Me and Lawrence.
"Walk, slowly and follow me please."
She then starts to walk out of the Theater and all of the First-Years then start to follow her.
Not long after we arrived at a large classroom.
It had the same design inside the Theater where there were rows of tables and a podium in the middle, it was kind of a mini-version of it, enough to accommodate the hundreds of First-Years.
"Sit, wherever you want to."
I look for a seat in the back row and sat there, Lawrence also followed me and sat next to me
First-Year Students then fight to secure a seat closest to Ms. Melinda.
I let out a small laugh as I watch them from the back row.
After a couple of minutes, every seat was now taken.
"Alright, since it's the first day we should introduce ourselves"
"There are maybe 200 or 300 of us here so this might take a while," I thought to myself
"Starting from the very back," Ms. Melinda suddenly said while pointing at me.
