Lucian looked at the faces in the hall and realized they were fully convinced. Some were starting to pity Jane, thinking she was truly under the influence of alcohol, and those that didn't pity her no longer called her names but just ignored her.
Lucian was happy at the progress and decided to end it there, not for Jane tho but for the school. He would have loved Jane to continue being abused and cursed at throughout their remaining years in school but the school's reputation was at stake and he was the president, it would affect him the most if the news went out and everyone would point out his incompetency.
He cleared his throat to continue his statement, and the students all shut their mouths to listen to him.
"Okay! I love you all and I have an announcement to make tonight..." He said and paused as his voice was slowly failing him due to anxiousness and maybe he was nervous too.
