The thought of seeing Mabel cropped into his mind like a bee attached to a honeycomb.
The doctor delayed him so Mabel and co should get prepared. He had planned everything.
"You are going to see your queen now. Close your eyes," the doctor said as he smiled.
Lucian chuckled as he thought of a game they played when in school. He could still remember every part of it: the good, the bad, and the best moments. He wished that it would never end.
He closed his eyes and the doctor waved to his eyes so as to be sure that he had closed them. But Lucian blinked. The doctor requested a blindfold. One of the doctors gave him a blindfold. He tied it around his eyes.
"Friend, you never grow up," Lucian whispered to his ear.
"No need to grow up when the period was the best period one would never forget."
A lady was brought forward to him after they blindfolded him.
"King, your queen is here," the doctor said and Lucian giggled.
