Keira looked at the piece of music instrument with critical eyes – a hint of distaste in there.

"You don't like it," Nate stated from her side, clearly picking on her frown. "I thought you liked it when I played with it on Axe's birthday?"

A memory of Nate – suave and playful, elegant in his own way – playing the violin with Axel Leinster's secretary/ girlfriend surged in her head. Indeed, it was the best live music performance she ever witnessed and enjoyed. For it was him who played it, even if it wasn't for her.

The way he kept sending glances and even locked eyes with her through the play, it made her feel something other than adoration and amazement.

"I like it when you play," she told him before the filter in her mouth could run.
