Angel of Lies.
A novel by Deniz Langley.
It told the story of a family with seven children. They lived happily; but it was only at the beginning.
It was a time of war. Their four sons, all aged from fifteen to twenty five, had sworn to fight in the war against the dragon monarch – a creature of flames and blood.
While their three daughter; varied from eleven, thirteen, and seventeen, were not spared from the despair of war either.
It was the tale of death and loss – nothing new in that type of genre. But then, there was an angel. Sent by God to help the family. The angel did as ordered, helping the poor, sick, and injured humans. Healing, saving their lives.
It went well – until it was not.
It was an old saying – there was no glory in war.
The dragon monarch murdered the angel. Slain, right in front of the family. Burned until nothing was left.
