The boy in front of me was shaking like a leaf. I couldn't understand what made him so scared. "What happened?" I asked.
"I told you, a girl tried to attack me!" he replies, terrified.
"Who did you say tried to attack you?" I am confused by his response.
"She's my girlfriend, Alexia, and she's gone crazy."
"Go face your problems and stop being a wimp," I told him as I kicked him out of the kitchen.
This idiot thinks my kitchen is a mess. I'll let him take care of his girlfriend!
Now I can finally concentrate on my cooking.
I start to cut up chicken, potatoes, and carrots for dinner.
I also add onions, tomatoes, garlic, and spices to the pot and put it on the stove to boil. Then I mix in pasta for the sauce. I leave the chicken alone until later since it needs longer to cook than everything else.
Once the chicken is done, I separate it into four portions and then chop it up. After doing this, I put the chopped vegetables and chicken together, put a dash of vinegar over them, mixed it all up, and placed it all on plates. Then I take each piece of chicken and dip it into flour and an egg mixture before frying them in hot oil.
After the chicken is fried, I toss it in the pot with the remaining vegetables and pasta sauce. This should give us something good for our meal. I also take three plates out of the dishwasher and put them next to the table.
"Please let me in." He started pounding desperately on the door.
"I've already told you to deal with her yourself."
"She is crazy; you don't understand."
How many times do I have to repeat myself?
"Just go, please."
If I keep letting this guy bother me, I won't be able to focus. I'm trying to prepare a nice home-cooked meal here.
So now I decide to ignore him and continue preparing the rest of the food.
"Please, she's after me."
"Will you promise to be quiet if I let you in?"
"I promise, but hurry up before she finds me."
He quickly entered my kitchen and closed the door behind himself. Now I could finish making the rest.
"Thank you; you have no idea how much you've helped me."
"Now let me finish my work before the festival starts."
"Yes, the school festival is today. "Do you have any plans today?"
I shook my head. "Not really, just working hard at work."
"Fufu!" he started laughing at me.
"I think it's time you face your girlfriend," I said in response to the sneer.
Seriously, I don't know what this guy has in his head—me trying to help him and him making fun of me. It would seem that he doesn't know anything about manners or respect.
"Please forgive me," he knelt on the floor pleading.
"There won't be any second chances."
"Thanks."
This boy...
I continued preparing the food for a while until I was interrupted again by him.
"My girlfriend is jealous."
And there he is, talking about things I didn't ask him about.
"She is, huh?" I replied with a laugh. "That's not good."
"Why?"
"Because she might get suspicious if you aren't with her all the time." "What do you plan to do when she shows up?"
"I'll pretend not to see her," he says confidently.
"Pretend?"
"Yeah, I mean, Alexia isn't very bright; I doubt she'd notice right away. "Besides, she never comes here anyway."
Well, maybe that wouldn't work too well...
"Okay, but you're going to need to stay hidden from her for quite some time."
"Really?!" He asked excitedly.
"Yes, so make sure you follow every rule I tell you." Otherwise..." I paused as I thought.
"Oh man, thanks. I owe you big time."
"Don't mention it."
Then I decided to teach him more useful information.
"Tell me more about her first."
"Oh, bro, she is extremely possessive and strong-willed."
Strong-willed? That sounds bad.
"No matter what happens, she can't find me."
As if answering her pleadings, a voice approached from the kitchen: "I finally found you, my darling."
