Chapter 6 - Kind Luna

Marshall's series of questions raised my fury. What had this got to do with me? I just came out to move my body. Who knew that the hospital would be irresponsible and release a patient with mental illness?

"I don't know. I just came down to get some air. Marshall, do you have any shame? When you're being all lovey-dovey with Beyonce every day, have you ever thought about the fact that I'm unattended in the hospital? I'm recuperating. Do you think I can win against a crazy wolf?"

"I'm sorry," By now, Marshall had seen the wheelchair. He carried me to it and pushed me back into the ward. When he was about to carry me to the bed, I refused.

"I'm so dirty. My neck is filled with that lunatic's saliva. I want to take a shower."

This request was reasonable. Marshall stepped aside to let me do whatever I want. It hadn't been long after I had washed my neck in the bathroom when he leaned in again.

"Oh honey, we haven't had s*x in a long time."

Because my back was facing him, Marshall couldn't see my expression. I rolled my eyes without restraint. Wasn't it enough to have Beyonce to vent his desires? If I hadn't been almost violated today, would this scumbag have remembered me?!

"Let's not, I'm not feeling well." I slapped his restless hand and rejected him decisively.

He also did what that crazy guy, who had appeared out of nowhere, had done earlier, licking my neck as if he was declaring his sovereignty. He only let go of me after he had licked enough. He whispered, "Flora, it's my fault that I wasn't by your side. After you're discharged, I'll definitely be inseparable from you."

Wasn't it enough for you to have your Beyonce? Would you still need me? I couldn't help but roll my eyes again and said indifferently, "Then let's talk after I'm discharged. Can you go out? I'm a little dizzy and want to quickly wash up and get out."

He suddenly became nervous. "Dizzy? Is it serious? Do you need me to call a doctor over?"

"No need. It's just that the bathroom is too small and the ventilation isn't good."

With how I had put things, Marshall would be a fool if he continued to stay here. Of course he wasn't one. However, after he left, I carefully washed my neck again.

Having stayed in the hospital for a week or so, I really couldn't stay any longer. For an active person, lying in bed was a form of torture. Anyway, I had been hospitalized for more than a week. It was already a known fact that Beyonce had driven me sick from anger, so there was no need for me to stay in the hospital anymore. I could go home and consider the divorce.

The Southwind Tribe had always been passed down through my family. I was the only one in the family of my generation. Marshall had become the alpha because of me. If the tribe was torn apart because of the divorce, the losses would outweigh the gains.

But first, I need to stabilize Beyonce.

In my previous life, after Beyonce came to the tribe, I could be said to have done my best for her. I had never confiscated her supplies, nor did I order the people in the tribe to bully her. I even provided her with good food and drinks. Whatever the people in the tribe had, she would have them too.

However, no matter where she went, she would look pitiful. She would cry to the tribesmen, telling them about her story state and her difficulties. I was also not the type who was good at explaining things, so every time I faced Beyonce, I would always run away. As I didn't like her, I didn't want to care about her.

As time passed, even if I really didn't do anything, everyone thought that I was bullying her. It was because I was the luna and had authority while Beyonce was just an insignificant slave. People were born to sympathize with the weak, and slowly, the tribesmen all chose to stand on her side.

I wasn't going to allow this to happen again. I was going to treat Beyonce the same way I treated her in my previous life. However, the difference would be that I wanted everyone to know how well I treated her.

I had been in the hospital for too long and hadn't attended the regular meetings for a long time. I could use one of the meetings to show everyone my attitude.

The centermost seat was the alpha's, and next to it was me. When I arrived, Marshall wasn't there yet. The members of the tribe who had arrived early all expressed their condolences to me and asked about my body. I smiled and responded to each and every one of them until Marshall arrived.

Of course, he wouldn't come alone. Beyonce followed behind him, not wanting to leave his side at all.

But just as she was about to take the seat next to the alpha, Marshall stopped her.

"That's Luna's seat. Go to the back."

The current me was no longer the same me from the past. I could see faint hatred in Beyonce's frightened eyes. Actually, she hadn't hidden it very deeply, but in my previous life, because I had deliberately avoided her, I had ignored all these obvious signals.

As soon as Beyonce found a place to sit down, I called her up and made her the center of attention again.

"Let me give an introduction. This is our Southwind Tribe's new member—Beyonce. Everyone, please welcome her."

I took the lead to stand up and clap. Of course, the tribesmen cooperated. After the welcome applause passed, I continued, "I hope everyone understands that Beyonce is a member of the tribe after entering. Everyone must treat her well. What the tribesmen have—food, drinks, clothes, and things we use—Beyonce must have them too. I don't want everyone to treat her as an outsider. Since I've already accepted her, I'll treat her as my family. These are my heartfelt words."

Everyone knew that Beyonce had made me so angry that I was hospitalized the first time she came. However, I chose to repay her with kindness. The tribesmen must know what I mean.

Jack was the first to stand up and express his stand, "Kind Luna, we understand."
