Ryan took a deep breath when he saw Hannah standing in the doorway of her apartment. Ryan wanted to hug Hannah, but he quickly stopped his intention. He was relieved that Hannah would still accept him after what he had done to her.
Hannah stared at Ryan with a cold stare. She stepped back to make room for Ryan to enter her apartment. For the first time, Ryan felt awkward in Hannah's apartment.
"I'm sorry," Ryan muttered.
Hannah closed her apartment door and took a deep breath. "I have to be strong to face it," Hannah said in her heart. She then walked over to Ryan. She patted Ryan on the back like he usually did when Ryan was having a bad day.
"Would you like some hot chocolate?" Hannah asked, walking toward her kitchen. "Sit down. This isn't the first time you've come to my apartment."
