The squad leader who shot Collin in the woods finally arrives at Alo's cabin after talking to a stranger who finds a radio belonging to one of his members. The man and the rest of his men immediately checked Alo's cottage near Lake Tahoe.
The soldiers who had been ordered to inspect the lakeside area were missing. The rest then walked along the shores of the lake to look for the missing troops. But they did not find any sign of the soldiers until they finally arrived at an uninhabited wooden hut.
There were remains of a bonfire and pieces of wood near the hut. The troop leader joined in, searching the area around the cabin. He narrowed his eyes when he saw a broken radio on the ground. The head finally crouched down and picked up the shattered radio.
"They had already arrived here," said the head of the squad.
"I found this!" exclaimed one of the soldiers, checking the lake's shores. He held up a necklace to his troop leader.
