Another week passed and Alexa was healing faster than normal, so the doctors switched the casts out with slings and a boot and reminded her to keep things easy. She was excited to get out of the house again.
Alexa went to the company with Alex and Kaia, yet she was in a recording studio watching Bretton work. Bretton tried to get her to sing with him but she declined. The last time she tried to sing, since the accident, her voice sounded different and she didn't like it. She didn't know how or why it changed but she thought it was worse so she didn't want to sing anymore.
After leaving the studio Bretton and Alexa went down a few floors to the photography floor so Bretton could do a photoshoot. Many artists would have to go to many different places, but that was the best thing about Sabor Sights. They had it all in one building.
Bretton helped Alexa to his chair on set before going to get dressed. When he returned, he wore ripped black jeans with a red button-up shirt with a black over vest. He had illuminating red contacts and his make up made him a tad paler than he already was.
Alexa couldn't help but think back to her favorite comic book. Alexa let out a small squeal. "Bretton! You look like Ash from "A Vampire Next Door!" She looked at him with sparkling eyes. Bretton laughed lightly holding up his thumb finger," That means they did their job right, The comic is getting a series."
Freezing, Alexa looked at him with her mouth agape," And you didn't tell me!" Bretton laughed and poked her forehead. "This reaction was the best, I'm glad I didn't. Now hush and just watch the shoot," He said walking in front of the cameras.
Alexa smiled and pulled out her phone, taking a few secret pictures." He looks so cool,"She said to herself watching him.

Alex sat in his office working on some papers. Kaia was in the corner chair, curled up and passed out. Alex looked up from his desk noticing the sleeping Kaia. Just her being near still made his heart flutter with joy. He stood up and walked to the small closet pulling out a throw blanket, gently placing it over Kaia.
After leaning down to kiss her forehead, Alex sat back at his desk and continued to work. He might have dropped the Korean partners because of Mi Sung, but a few companies have been contacting him. So he set up meetings, with a few of the top ones. He was going through the paperwork to see what they do at their company and see if they were reliable for partnership.
Naomi soon came to the door in a hurry, She was going to speak but Alex stopped her. He pointed towards Kaia before motioning Naomi to come in close. Naomi nodded in understanding before walking into the office. She took the tv remote and turned on the tv, making sure to mute the sound.
The Tv was showing a news report in front of Crestfall industries. The words that ran across the bottom of the screen read.
[ Mr. Crestfall, creator of Crestfall Industries was found dead this morning in his office. Mr. Crestfall was recently put in jail and was out on bail. From the details, received by the police, Mr. Crestfall committed suicide.]
Alex put a hand on his chin with a 'heh.' He looked at Naomi and nodded. "Thanks, Also set up to have some fruit baskets for the guest, in a few days. Naomi looked at him quickly writing it down before walking out.
Alex shut off the tv and continued to work on his things. He wrote down a few things before hearing his cell phone go off. Alex tilted his head and reached over looking at the front. Seeing it was a message from Alexa, he opened it.
Alexa's message had a picture of Bretton then a mad face, "Why didn't anyone tell me about this!?" Alex grinned and sat back in his chair replying," They are just casting right now, Why don't you try it?" He sent his message and set his phone down.
Thinking for a second, Alexa smiled. She really wanted to. She was a huge fan of the comic so why not?
Alex gathered a few documents in his hands before walking over and kissing Kaia's cheek. "Time to wake up dear, I have a meeting to get to. You have a few minutes before your class," he spoke softly before kissing right by her ear which made Kaia grin.
Kaia turned her head blinking her eyes to look at him. "Okay, don't let me keep you," she said, rubbing her eyes. Alex grinned and leaned in kissing her cheek over and over,"stop. acting.so. cute."He kissed her cheek,lips, and jaw after every word. Kaia giggled and grabbed him by his cheeks,"stop it,go to your meeting."
Kaia got up and folded the blanket,placing it on the couch before stretching. Alex left the room and went to his meeting.
Kaia smiled thinking about Alex and how much he changed over the years. Kaia walked down to the floor her class was in and began to instruct the students. They were in a steady flow of pronouncing vowels while singing.
She began to pace around the room listening to the students. Going to turn,Kaia stumbled a little. Blinking, Kaia rubbed her head before shaking it off. None of the students seemed to notice so she kept walking.
Kaia made her way to the front of the class. Feeling light headed again she grabbed onto the podium, her face only showed confusion. The students began to worry asking her what was wrong. Kaia was going to tell them nothing but instead she grimaced,"get Mr. Sabor…" she mumbled out before her vision went fully black and she fell to the floor unconscious.
