Prologue
"Hello, my name is Kria, pleased to meet you." I held my hand to greet him. But his intense gaze never left mine and all of a sudden he said "Mine" looking at me intensely. His voice is mesmerising and I stood there confused. He cleared his throat like coming back from a trance.
"Hello, I'm Adrian and I'm very glad that I met you." He said in a husky voice and kissed my hand. As soon as he held my hand, I felt a shock run through my body. I shivered at the kiss. I guess because of the cold breeze and my dress is not helping me at all. He opened the passenger door for me like a gentleman. I blushed and stepped inside whispering a thank you. He jogged towards the driver's seat, got inside the car and started to drive.
We reached Ahana's home and I picked her jewels and dress. We drove back to Manik's home in an awkward silence. When we reached there I said good night to Adrian and stepped outside of his car. While going inside I heard him say "mine" again which made me turn and ask him to make sure I heard him clearly. But he was not there. Weird . I went inside still confused by his strange behaviour.
