After Samantha had explained it to me for a good while, I went to digest the information and was shocked at what the world had begun as she took out some food from her strange pouch, which I had yet to ask what it was.
"Wait, didn't you say that I broke the world into six continents? How is there are seven now?" I asked, clearly confused by this fact.
"Oh, well, dish ish, because de seventh continent was created by a genius warrior whish, broke the void and entered into the unknown", replied Samantha with food in her mouth.
"Wait, so to summarise, the seven continents are known as Holy Continent, Demon Continent, Volcano Continent, Flood Continent, Gale Continent, Terra Continent and War Continent.
Demon Continent used to be known as the Land of the Unholy, where the only thing that has changed is that entry to the Continent is once a year.
Holy Continent, where I used to live before I became a lich, is now a continent that kingdoms keep amicable relationships with by setting-up vassal kingdoms and having them in the holy continent. After all, you never know when you might be in dire need of a healer. Well, that was a nice way to put it, but the real purpose was that they didn't have the money or resources to develop the continent themselves. After all, that was the place with the most damage I had caused.
Volcano Continent where those with magical affinity are fire only and warriors there also only use fire arts. This is also a place where precious and powerful gems are mined from. After all, their entire continent is one big mine.
Flood Continent where those with magical affinity are water only and warriors there also only use water arts. This is also a place with the best scenic views and is an excellent place for honeymoons and calming the mind.
Gale Continent where those with magical affinity are air only and warriors there also only use air arts. This is also a place where strong, unpredictable winds gather, causing only those cultivating air to transverse this place easily.
Terra Continent where those with magical affinity are earth only and warriors there also only use earth arts. This is a mountainous region where, although it has the most fertile land to grow crops, there are many steep and narrow pathways that only someone who cultivates the earth element would be able to climb easily.
War Continent. The most chaotic continent where all other continent has made a pact to fight here to reduce the number of innocent victims and at the same time fight for control and territory on this war continent as it was discovered over 8 thousand years ago. No, to be exact, it was said that the genius warrior from 9 thousand years ago left his legacy and treasures behind before breaking through the void and into the unknown.
It was said that the War Continent used to be just a tiny island right smack in the middle of all the other continents. After the warrior left and announced that he left his legacy to help others break through the void and into the unknown, that island started growing bigger and bigger by the day. Although it was not apparent at the start, it became noticeable after about a thousand years as people began flocking to the area, hoping to find his legacy.
Did I get everything right?" I asked her just to ensure that I got it all down.
"Yup! That sums it up," replied Samantha as she dusted off the crumbs of her meal from her body.
"By the way, I have been meaning to ask, what is that pouch you use to take out things even larger than itself?" I asked, finally unable to hold back my curiosity about it.
"Oh, this?" Samantha raised that pouch and asked.
"Yes," I answered.
"This is known as a dimensional space pouch. Where it can keep about ten cubic metres of space inside, may I" answered Samantha as she took my hand and stuck it inside the pouch to feel the space inside.
After feeling the space for a good while, I became fascinated with it and wondered how it was made. After all, during the time that I was still human, there was no such thing.
With my face betraying my thoughts, Samantha continued to explain the history and a little of how it was made "it was about 5 thousand years ago when large giant bones of unknown creatures were found first on Volcano Continent in their mines then later on it was found that each and every continent had one except for War Continent which has yet to be dug".
"Bones of large creatures?" I asked, wondering what the connection was between the two.
"Yes, because through further study of the bones, we realised that each bone held a world in it. Hence, through careful research, we were able to grind the bones into powder and just by using small traces of it with a particular refining method, we were able to create a dimensional space pouch, bag…etc. Making storage spaces bigger, lighter and more convenient to take bulky and heavy items". As Samantha continued to explain.
"Interesting" with curiosity overpowering my fear of the outside world, I started to yearn to go out again.
With that, I stood up and, with a smile on my face, "let's go."
"Where are we going?" asked Samantha.
"To the outside world", I replied.
She stood up and skipped joyfully by my side with a smile on her face.
Reaching the effective range of the dispel spell, I realised something and extended my hand towards Samantha, "I forgot; I will need to hold your hand and help you absorb any miasma that enters your body lest you collapse later on".
She extended her hand with a flushed face and trembling hands, hooking it with mine as she trailed behind me and an inaudible, "ok."
