Ariana sipped from the cup of tea in her hands as she settled on the sofa in her living room. The TV was playing in the background but she was focused on the phone in her hand.
Laughing slightly at the emoji Jared sent when she told him they weren't going to meet today, she placed the cup on the table in front of her. It had been just a week since she finally confessed her feelings to Jared and she had never been so happy in her life.
He was the first she thought of when she opened her eyes in the morning and the last thing on her mind as she fell asleep. She just couldn't get enough of him. They had met every single day after their conversation in the cafe, often sneaking out during their break times to fulfill another item on her death list.
If she knew she was going to be this happy, she should have not wasted time being stubborn and just confessed how she felt from the get-go.
