Meanwhile the Zestril kingdom's secret assault was taking place, somewhere in the vast forest spreading from the Eastern side of the forest, hidden among the trees.
A man dressed in a black cloak could be seen standing on one of the tree branches.
(Heh, looks like those fellows are already having fun, too bad I won't be able to join in but, at least he should be enough)
He thought turning his head towards a young boy standing a short distance behind him, the boy has short black hair, and his black eyes looked empty and hollow as though he was nothing but a puppet.
He wore clothing that resemble knight attire.
On the neck of the young black-haired youth, there was a metal collar place there with a conspicuous looking red gemstone embedded in the centre.
A scythe could be seen clutched tightly in his hands, as the blade reflects the light of the sun shining through the gaps between the tree leaves.
The boy's name was Jack Harrison, 15 years old high schooler who was summoned as the hero of earth in the Zestril kingdom.
But, at that point he was made to wear a slave collar turning him into their own personal puppet.
Seeing him like that, Alister's lips perked up into a smirk.
(Let's see what the power of the so-called legendary hero is capable of)
"Now go, kill everyone you see!"
Alister ordered.
Hearing that Jack nodded his head once before he leapt into the air, jumping from branch to branch until his silhouette completely disappeared from Alister's sight.
"Now then, I think it's about time I head there."
He muttered while gazing into the direction of the Alberta kingdom.
Suddenly, from his back two bat like wings appeared, as he took to the skies.

Meanwhile... from the assault team of white eagle flying in the sky they continued to fire, fire balls, wind blades, earth spears and water slashes onto the battlefield constantly.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A thick cloud of dust was risen high into the sky obstructing their view of the ground. Though, the screams and groans of the knights from the Alberta kingdom sounded out.
"Guh."
General Luke's face grimaced as he raised his shield upwards blocking the constant firing of the enemy forces.
(Damn it! If this continues any longer, our side will...)
Their sides numbers will eventually fall to zero is what he wanted to say, it was already hard enough to attack them from above but, with the enemy force attacking them in large numbers simply evading or blocking was starting to be a tough challenge already!
In fact, there was not many knights left that was in good condition, some had lost either their arms or legs, while some had even worst injuries on their bodies.
(Tch, those damn bastard, I-I need to inform your majesty about this!)
He thought, his feet trembling from enduring countless fire of projectile spells.
"Sir Riner, can you use light magic to send a signal back to the Alberta kingdom?"
He asked.
From the distance they were currently at they should be able to send a signal back to the Alberta's gate entrance where the prince was stationed.
Hearing the words of his general, Riner nodded his head before holding his hands upwards.
"Light cannon!"
He shouted, at the same time a three-layer magic formation appeared before his palms as light gathered there.
It condensed at a single point, before it subsequently shot up skyward towards the clear blue skies, sensing the danger of the attack the many white eagles promptly moved to the side quickly evading the light cannon breaking their circular formation.
The light fired from the 'Light cannon' was launched high into the inhabitant sky filling the sky with its dazzling glow and blinding those riding the white eagles.
Many of the mages and knights squinted their eyes due to the intense light.
"Tch, these annoying bugs, their sending a signal to their allies. Don't let up, continue to wipe them out before reinforcements arrives!"
A knight riding on the back of the white eagle shouted.
At that Luke who had been using his shield until now swiftly drew his sword and slashes vertical, at that a blade of wind was fired from his sword.
"Sh*t! Move!"
A mage riding on the back of a white eagle ordered the eagle to evade to the left, but-
"Grahah!"
The eagle let out a sharp cry as its left wing was slice clean before it fell down from the sky unable to continue flying.
Luke gathered his remaining mana into his sword and fired another slash of wind, reducing the numbers of the white eagles flying in the sky.
"Mother of fire blast my target, fire blast!"
A mage chanted firing his spell towards Luke, but—
"Mother of earth protects us from all dangers, earth wall!"
A female mage standing on the left of Luke chanted as she places her hands onto the ground.
The soil undulates and instantly three blocks of earth walls protrude from the ground shielding them from the attack!
Crack!
The first wall instantly melted away and crumbled to pieces, while the second earth wall withstood the attack for a few minutes before eventually melting away like the first. The female mage poured out every bit of her mana to strengthen the durability of the earth wall as much as possible.
"Ngh."
Sweat slid down her cheek as the hot temperature of the 'Fire blast' continued to make contact with her earth wall.
"Che, what an annoying pest."
The mage stopped his firing and click his tongue seen that the female mage had managed to withstand his attack.
"Haah...haah... haah."
The female mage fell down to her knees breathing heavily as her dark blue hair stuck to her face from the sweat coming down profusely from her brow.
"You should rest now, recover your mana as much as possible."
Luke ordered when seeing her state.
"Haah... n-no I'm fine. I can still fight."
The blue-haired woman said as she continued to breathe out hot breath. Her seductive body shaking.
".... Alright but, don't push yourself too hard."
Luke said before swinging his sword diagonally releasing a slash of wind.
Boom!!!
The wind slash made contact with a ball of fire and send it moving off course.
The mage that had been previously riding on the back of the white eagle frown seeing his attack easily been dealt with.
Luke then held his sword firmly into a stance while glancing at the mage who was currently preparing to fire another attack.
"Can I ask you something?"
Luke asked.
"What?"
The mage wearing white clothing asked, as his brow furrowed slightly.
"Can I ask you why you're king is so eager to conquer the kingdoms who had been living peacefully until now?"
Luke asked curiously. However, hearing his question the mage wearing white clothing only scoffed at his question.
".... Because our lord is the only one truly worthy of the title 'Kings' we, the Zestril kingdom are the ones who are destined to rule over this continent! That had always been the ambition of our country to rule and conquer."
The mage said.
"We can never be satisfied with simply ruling over three or four kingdoms', we want the entire continent."
The mage continued, nonchalantly as though it was only natural.
However, Luke only shook his head upon hearing his answer, he really couldn't understand their way of thinking at all! While it's good to have ambitions, having too much could easily bring ruined to the person himself.
(Well, sigh! I guess we humans were always this kind of creatures to begin with)
He thought.
Human desires were not a concept that could be stopped or suppressed in the first place, if such a thing was possible then... there wouldn't be as many deaths as they were. Friends stabbed each other in the back.
Families killed each other if that's what it takes to get the desired outcome they need. As long as humans exist greed will also continue to exist as well. Luke scratches the back of his head as he sighed tiredly just by thinking about it.
"... I see, well unfortunately, I don't care about the ambitions of your king, nor do I care about the ambitions of your country, I only care about one thing. And that is to protect the safety of my own country."
Luke said pointing the blade of his sword towards the mage dauntingly.
"... I see, well then our conversation is over."
The mage said, unbothered.
"So, it seems."
Luke replied.
Then his feet march forward, he quickly tried to close the distance between himself and the mage.
On the blade of his sword, a strong gale could be seen gathered there, whipping around in an intense storm.
While they were talking, he was secretly preparing his attack while waiting for the right timing, but—
Boom!!!!
"Urk!"
Luke's body was suddenly sent flying backwards as he coughs out a mouth full of blood.
The mage smirked seeing that his surprise attack had worked.
"You weren't the only one who were secretly preparing an attack."
The mage said. Luke grimaced in pain as the sensation of his feet suddenly disappeared. When he turned his head downwards his bloodshot eyes widened as he saw his missing legs rolled across the ground leaving behind a trail of blood. Only his knees remained intact.
"Hehe he. Do you think I wouldn't figure out your objective? That talk was nothing but show, waiting for me to lower my guard and attack when you're at my blind spot wasn't a bad idea but, did you really think it would work on me?"
The mage said, his hands reach out to the hood covering his face as he removed it, revealing his handsome face.
