Chapter 20 - Chpt 20 An Insignificant Town

About a month after copying the level 7 sword heart talent from Lin Fan my proficiency with the sword increased at lightning speed

Today I finally managed to project the Li from my body into the shape of a sword, this technique was extremely difficult to due for a normal Jin artists, but with the combination of my high level sword heart talent and my progress in Xin arts I finally managed to achieve it

About a week ago I had achieved Novice Rank Xin artists, my strength was not very great but I could finally control Li outside of my body, the control was very weak but because I was already an Apprentice Jin I had plenty of Li inside my body and didn't have to worry about running out like other Novice rank Xin artists

As my control of Li increased I could now infuse Li into my Rune carving and make better artifacts which I sold later on

Also with my healing talent at lvl 5 I expected to reach the Apprentice rank healer soon, because of this I will practically be immune to weak poisons and diseases, I could also heal almost any wound that wasn't life threatening or lethal

Usually healers would heal multiple people a day and this showed just how much Chun they could store in their bodies, I on the other hand didn't need to heal many people and only needed it for myself

Best of all when I went out on my usual walk to exact justice I found that many inner disciples had talents for stealth that they didn't have before successfully increasing my stealth talent to lvl 6

I also found that a few of them had the talent called evil which was at lvl 1, this talent allowed them to cultivate faster at the cost of their foundation's stability

Naturally such a useless talent was discarded by me, how dare they become evil and not give me any good talents this definitely required me to take action and teach them a lesson

"haah, I wonder why Elder Chang didn't come visit a few days ago, although I was running late he shouldn't have disappeared like that, maybe I should find him today to apologize he must be upset with me"

Later on I would find out that he was ambushed by assassins, truly unfortunate, luckily he said he fought valiantly and defeated them all before escaping after rescuing a child

After about a month I found some time between practicing Rune carving and the martial arts that Grand Elder Lou taught me and went to Mindar Sect which was to the east of Fenglo and was a Xin artist sect

I went there for a competition between sects, they had also sent a few Xin artists to complete with our sect which I had met in a small town called Weilo (I won't translate the name because it's obviously insignificant, wink)

In Weilo there was a stage set up where we were to compete, many people came from Fenglo to watch and set up street stalls
