1 month later…
The moment Blake opened his eyes, the vortex of world energy surrounding the Chaos Clan's compound stopped.
He took a deep breath to calm his thoughts.
As he inhaled, Blake could sense and differentiate the impurities from the pure world energy in the air.
He then guided the absorbed pure world energy into his dantian while he got rid of the impurities by excreting out of his acupoints.
As a result, his cultivation session became smoother.
"Phew, I have finally broken through to Rank 82 of the Magic Ancestor realm." Blake sighed in his heart.
If only he could stay in this mysterious forest for a long time, Blake was certain that he would be able to speed up his cultivation journey and reach his peak in less than 5 years.
Alas, he was the patriarch of a clan.
The responsibilities he had were…
'Wait a minute, I'm the patriarch of the Chaos Clan. I'm also the sole member of the clan. Wouldn't that mean that even if I'm away from the original clan founding location, I can still carry the Chaos Clan's legacy?'
Blake mulled it over for a stick of incense time.
In the end, he decided to take root in this mysterious forest and cultivate until the mysterious forest's world energy ran out.
Yeah, totally not a bitch move to do…
With a wave of his hand, one of the Seven Deadly Sins appeared before him.
It was Wrath, the greatsword that can split the Heavens in a fit of anger.
Blake caressed the black blade with two fingers as he gripped the handle of the greatsword tightly.
Although the Seven Deadly Sins have been sealed for a long time and can no longer harm anybody, the ancient aura they exude have not eroded and instead have become stronger due to the passage of time.
For example, the Wrath in Blake's hands constantly trembled as if it was a dormant volcano just waiting to erupt.
In the meantime, Blake took this chance that he was in a magical forest that he decided to refine as many swords within Seven Deadly Sins artifact set.
With a thought, a stream of mana gushed into the handle of the greatsword, causing the greatsword to twitch nonstop.
While doing so, Blake infused his two fingers with martial qi so that he can etch his name onto the blade of the greatsword with ease.
This was Blake's unique artifact refining method.
Without needing Wrath to acknowledge him as its master, Blake could forcibly bind his spirit to the greatsword, becoming the greatsword's master in the end.
The artifact refinement went on for a whole week before Blake finally made Wrath into his own artifact.
Coupled with Pride the katana, Blake has now refined two out of the Seven Deadly Sins, boosting his overall combat prowess by a large margin.
"Now then, let's go try out my new sword." Blake picked up Wrath before he slung it over his shoulder.
He then walked out of his residence before he casted flight magic on himself and flew deep into the mysterious forest.
"Bzzzz Bzzz Bzzzzz" Wrath, who was still shocked by Blake's artifact refining method, buzzed unhappily.
As the ex-soulbound weapon of the True God Sect's founder, Wrath was dissatisfied by Blake's methods.
"Cry all you want, I have already imprinted my seal onto your blade. So unless you're willing to part with your blade, you are now my sole property."
"Bzzt Bzzzt Bzzzzzt!!"
Blake ignored his greatsword's buzzing soon after.
A cup of tea's time later, Blake flew out of the mysterious forest and arrived at the Grasslands of Boln.
"This should be good enough." Blake landed on a hill near the mysterious forest's entrance.
Blake then started to cast several different spells on the grasslands below.
"Nature's Call!"
"Wood God's Blessing!"
"Gaia's Embrace!"
"..."
"Okay, that should be good."
Blake then hoisted the greatsword with his two hands before he swung it down at the grasslands with all of his might.
"Eat that!"
A sword wave the size of a two storey building flew out at exhilarating speeds before it hit the grasslands below.
"Boom!" A massive explosion followed as the grasslands below Blake split into two.
But without needing to do anything, the split ground slowly mended itself back together thanks to the various nature preserving spells Blake casted beforehand.
Aetheric Restoration in particular, was a very powerful cosmic element spell that tapped into the ethereal energies of the cosmos to mend scorched earth and broken skies, restoring the natural balance with a touch of magical rejuvenation.
It was the perfect spell for Blake to fix his mistakes at this moment.
Moving on, Blake casted body enhancement magic on himself before he tried to lift Wrath with one hand.
It took a few tries, but Blake could finally pick up the greatsword after applying 30 layers of body enhancement magic on himself.
Yeah, Blake has become physically weaker since his reincarnation.
Nonetheless, Blake treated today's outing as a lesson. He was going to train his body after this.
With another wave of his hand, Blake sent out another powerful sword wave at the blue sky.
"Swish!" A loud, sharp sound pierced his eardrums.
Looking up at where he slashed at the sky, the once blue sky was now split into two sections.
The left and right sections were still the blue sky, albeit one was able to see that the sky had folded in on itself.
The middle section however, had become pitch black due to the fact that the sword wave was strong enough to cut the sky and summon the Void behind it.
Blake took a good look at the dark and lightless Void before he put Wrath away.
He then flew back to his residence in the Mysterious Forest.
He decided that he would enter closed door cultivation starting from tomorrow.
As for that hole in the sky, Blake would use it as a warning to the Olympians that rule this realm.
