Chapter 3 - FOOOOOD!!!!

"Hey! you can't just push her off!!" Rim yelled at Chloe.

"Oh, yea? I just did push her off you know, and by the way- as Luke said- we don't have much time-" She said with a smug smile and then winked at me.

I could only sigh-

Although it was morally wrong we couldn't waste too much time.

"Alright guys we don't have much time, grab what feels might help," I announced.

"I know you guys might wanna call your relatives and some of you might have already got the calls- but you can only return them later once we get out of this place, and miss Lui, don't forget to keep your lighter and cigs-"

Yup, she smoked- a lot- you could almost always find her on the roof smoking whenever she was free.

Heck one of my first interactions with her was when I caught her smoking when she was supposed to be taking a class but she left them on self-study.

Miss Lui nodded and we all started looting the classroom, we turned over every place to find anything that could help.

Rim got a thick bio book, we could use it for fuel since we had no idea how long would the electricity last, and it could also be used as a nonlethal mode of defense?

Miss Lui not only got her lighter and cigs she also had a small bottle of what seemed like vodka, and I don't wanna know where she hid that in the first place.

Chloe for some fricking reason had a taser and pepper spray. She also had a box cutter and a swiss knife. Man- I didn't know Chloe would be so useful.

I also decided to grab the stand which was supporting a skeleton in the closet. Although its shaft was pretty thin, the base was thick and heavy and it was all made out of metal so it was just enough to smash someone's skull in.

"what now- genius?" Chloe said with a mocking tone.

"Now we raid the cafeteria storage-"

"Huh?" everyone said at almost the same time.

"Right now- we don't have much food and I'm sure that food would be hard to get by outside-" I tried explaining but was cut off.

I was plenty sure that all supermarkets or grocery stores would long have been raided by now, but while the idiots are just running we can grab the food in the cafeteria.

"Let's not waste any more time. We'll follow you." Miss Lui spoke with a determined expression.

The other girls only nodded in mutual agreement.

I planned to take the stairs that the mob wanted to go to but instead of running out, we would enter the second building through the supply door of the cafeteria.

"Fine, let's go," I said as I flung the door to the hallway open.

I popped my head out to check if someone was there- but I could only see a completely empty hallway. everyone seemed to have left behind that mob.

We decided not to talk while we rushed towards the second building.

A lot of people from the mob were rushing towards the parking area- I guess they planned to take out some vehicles.

but then we finally saw it-

a person with blood on her clothes was roaming out in the open.

It couldn't even be called roaming- she was just staring at the bright sun while her legs kept fumbling.

Her arm was drenched in blood, and her blonde hair were a mess, drenched with her own blood.

We didn't waste a lot of time staring at her and rushed into the cafeteria- luckily enough no one was smart enough to raid it before us.

It was full of a lot of food but we could only take as much as we could carry to the other side of the building where the bus should be waiting for us.

We picked up a few loaves of bread, water bottles, and some tetra packs of various juices.

Well, it was mostly Miss Lui with her purse carrying them as we stuffed in the loaves since we didnt have the time to care about their shape.

Our carry limit was not a good thing, but what was even worse was the fact that most of the stuff in the cafeteria got easily spoilt.

So Rim and Chloe boggled down two or three muffins right there since we decided not to carry them as they would get spoiled rather quickly.

In the end, we ended up with some jars of peanut butter and jelly and also a small amount of canned fish and beans for some reason.

We chose not to go outside the building since there was quite a high chance that other people would try to rob us of our 'goods'.

Walking through the empty but completely empty hallway even though it wasn't much scary the eerie silence creeped us out.

Checking my watch I found that we had spent over 6 mins, hence we were a full minute late. so we decided to start running towards the fire exit but that was when-

Mr. Johnathan our history teacher decided to stop us.

He literally jumped out of one of the classrooms and stood in our way, with his bloodshot eyes glaring at us-
