"SHIT! we don't have time- we need to get out of here!!" I yelled at Rim's face.
"But this doesn't make any sense- even though contingency plan 8888 is just a sort of training drill it is meant to counter a zombie apocalypse, it can't be that easy for multiple capital cities of prominent countries to fall in a matter of hours- its almost as if it was planned terrorist attack- " concluded Jane- the redhead girl sitting right behind me.
( contingency plan 8888, a training plan of sorts used in the US to train new people, the plan is based around fighting off a zombie apocalypse- )
I turned around "I know Jane! it all feels too weird- but right now we need to get out of this building! the zombies are already below us! and there's is nothing blocking the stairs!"
Miss Lui finally flung into action when she saw a side character hyperventilating-
"But- what about Jack he is our friend!" Rim revolted
"We don't have time for a guy who is most likely dead or worse- an undead!" I tried my best to explain. although I did feel bad about leaving jack- it was the most rational choice.
Suddenly there was a huge rush of people panicking through the hallway. All of them looked like they were running from something or were running with a goal in mind.
And all of us inside the classroom had the gist of what they might be running from.
Frank who had been quiet for a while finally spoke, "they are most likely running towards the roof or the stairs at the back to exit- but I don't think there is any place safe..."
His conclusion did make sense-
The class had been talking quite loudly for a while-
On seeing a huge mob of people running through the hallway- some students who believed that sticking with the herd might save the rushed outside.
I walked up to the teacher's desk and even Miss Lui made way for me.
"LISTEN UP!" I yelled first to grab their attention.
"You people have 3 options, stick with me- or if you wanna run with them, leave right now! or you can do your own shit but don't get in my way. "
Almost all the class left- leaving behind only six of us.
It was Me, Jane, Rim, Miss Lui, Frank, and Chloe.
I was pretty surprised about the fact that Chloe and Miss Lui stayed behind but maybe they just wanted to do their own thing?
well, Chloe made her purpose clear almost instantly as she saw the surprised expression on my face.
"I just thought it would be better to stick with you rather than go with that plebeian scum- who are just planning to run, I am sure you have a plan in mind."
Chloe said with a grin.
Chloe, no one knew about her family, but she acted like she was a princess of some sort. I mean her beauty, the long perfectly blonde hair, her light blue, mesmerizing eyes, and her super good all-rounder abilities were definitely princess level but I can't say the same thing about her personality. still, I was sure that she wouldn't drag us down.
I looked at Miss Lui with a hint of doubt "I agree with her- except for the plebeian part, but I believe I should take the lead, being the eldest and your teach-"
"Go Away!" all of us yelled at her at the same time.
"Alright, alright, calm down. I'll follow you if you have a good plan." Miss Lui agreed.
"fine then-" I announced as I shut the door behind us. With people still running on the outside.
"I don't know how much time we have but our best bet is to go outside before this place gets filled with zombies to the brim. Here's the plan, Frank and Jane you guys take the fire exit-"
"The fire exit is at the side they were running from-" Jane said as she crinkled her eyebrows.
"Frank, show her what I mean-" I commanded.
At an instant, Frank walked up to the window and swung it open-
"This is the true fire exit" Frank concluded with a smug smile.
It was a two-story drop from the window, Frank had already jumped out of it once before. From what we could see from the window, there seemed to be no zombies out in the open where the sun was shining.
The school parking area was just a few meters away from the ground directly below us.
"No, no, no, no! no way can I do that!" Jane said in a loud voice while wildly shaking her head.
"don't worry," I said with a grin "just look at Frank"
As soon as I said that Frank jumped out the window without any hesitation, did a full roll on the ground, and then did a thumbs up from outside. it seemed like he wasn't even hurt a tad bit.
Jane shrieked "Please I'll go with you guys!"
I walked up to jane and put my hand on her shoulder, "Listen, Frank will catch you perfectly, and then we need you to get the school bus with most fuel in front of the fire exit of the second building in 5 mins."
"But- " Jane said as she tried to resist but I continued.
"Frank can't drive, but you can and I know you will make the best choice if something unforeseen happens, so go, I trust you."
Jane could only bite her lip, "fine but, no matter how long it takes- I will wait for you-"
Rim jumped in between us and separated us "Alright that's enough- Jane go!"
Jane nodded and slowly dropped one of her legs out the window, then the other, even after a full minute she was hanging on the opposite side of the window, with her hands tightly gripping the window base.
"I can't do this!" she screamed while barely hanging from the window with Frank right below her raising his hands to catch her.
"Jane! Frank will catch you! don't worry!" I tried reassuring her.
"You aren't the one jumping here Luke!" screamed Jean.
Chloe sighed and finally got out of her desk, and then she pushed jane's hands which were tightly gripping the window out.
"Sorry, Jane!" Chloe said nonchalantly as we looked at Frank who had her in his arms like a baby.
"Don't worry about us!" Frank yelled back before he started running towards the parking lot with Jane after he let her down.
