Chapter 20 - twenty

"So, tell me the address and all other stats you got?" Nathan said and Noah nodded, both getting to work. I looked at Young-Jae only to find him a little pissed off.

"What's up?" I asked nudging his side and he looked away with a frown. He was still jealous.

"Jae baby, are you jealous?" He shook his head but nodded afterward. I chuckled and kissed him on the lips once since the boys were already immersed in a conversation with Noah. Young-Jae was like me, good at the physical work, lean and swift so we didn't really put in too much braincells.

"You always cuddle more with the other boys but not me, I'm in dire need of some cuddles," he dramatized, trying to look serious but there was nothing remotely serious about his statement. I couldn't believe he's acting jealous just to get attention.

"Do you maybe wanna hug me right n-" I didn't let him complete but immediately snuggled into his chest. He pulled me closer and I looked up at him. He looked back down and quickly leaned in to peck me on the forehead then lips. I didn't let him move back and kissed him softly.

"Can you not do that when we're doing serious work?" Hyun said smiling anyway.

"Oh come on," Young-Jae whined and I laughed still snuggled into his chest.

"Your hands look a little heavy, let me hold them for you", I giggled grabbing both his hands.

"I'll have to ask Seok-Min not to teach you anymore pick up lines, you make me blush all the time."

"No, we have really nice time together learning pick up lines and dad jokes."

"Bee, get to work with us, this is important." I sighed and followed Nathan's words.

Me and Young-Jae sat on the floor with the others and Young-Jae's arm hugged me sleepily. I noticed Noah giving us a look but chose to ignore it.

"So what did she confess to you again?" Seok-Min asked and I listened tentatively.

"She said that her father asked her to befriend the Browns in order to get into the house easily. According to her the original plan was to get into the house, take the documents or whatever shit it was and then dissappear from our lives but she apparently fell for me so she told her father everything because Jack was getting a little suspicious of her. It did not include any killing at first but her father's men, they're ruthless people, it didn't take them a second thought to kill at first sight." He dictated and I felt the colour leave my face my body going limp.

"Also, they did not find anything they were looking for, in the documents and shit."

"So apparently, my Mom and Jack died for nothing?! Those fuckers killed them for a bunch of useless papers?!" I yelled jumping up on my feet and Young-Jae stumbled back. I felt anger and frustration flow in every vein of my body.

"They changed me, my whole life for nothing?!" I yelled out in anger.

"Bee, calm down," Jake says but I paid no heed, I was way too angry to calm down.

"NO! WHAT DO YOU MEAN CALM DOWN? WERE MY WHOLE EFFORTS INTO TRAINING, LIVING ALONE AND MAKING MYSELF STRONGER, FOR THIS?!" I screamed and clenched my fists. See, this was what I wanted not to happen, I was losing my cool and that was not okay.

"Baby, we're all here aren't we? Please sit down and listen to everything that we have, we'll find justice for jack and mom, okay?" Young-Jae assured slowly coming behind me to rub my shoulders.

"Yes, all of us feel your pain, we've lost people in our lives too." Seok-Min mumbled softly.

My mind immediately ran back to the beach, in the water, where Seok-Min had told me about the girl. I'd always thought that I was unlucky but he was too, they were too. Everybody was. Everybody had lost someone, alive or dead. I glanced at him and he looked back at me with watery eyes making my heart wrench. I nodded, drew in two deep breaths and turned around to assure Young-Jae that I was indeed okay. He smiled at me and I smiled back though it was broken at places.

"Tell me, is there anything else you've got to say?" I asked Noah calmly and he poked the insides of his cheek with his tongue.

"I can get you into her house, we'll act like you're there to apologize to her and know absolutely nothing else. Once you get in with me, you do whatever you want to, but I want to be a part of it. She has a club in her name just in the outskirts of the town by the name 'moon' too ."

"Why'd you wanna risk your life?" I asked genuinely confused.

"Jack, he was my best friend too, and because of my mistakes I broke his most precious thing."

"What thing?" Kyle questioned loudly.

"You, I broke you, your heart. I want to fix things now. You both were and always will be family. I, I'm really really stupid Bee, I didn't see it when we had time, when you loved me too." He whispered the last part looking at Young-Jae behind me who was standing like a pillar, supporting my weight.

"I know I can't have your heart back but I've always got your back. Forgive me just one more time, I want my family back too. I promise I'd do anything to keep you safe." He said and even though there was sincerity in his voice I could see the hurt behind them. He wanted Young-Jae's place.

"Okay, but remember this means risking your life. I don't want you to be afraid or regret this after. Start working on your Karate again, it might be needed." I said grabbing Young-Jae's hand.

"We'll call you up again when we'll formulate the plan, right now you should leave," I told him softly and he nodded with a small smile but still glaring at my hand again. He goy up to leave and as soon as the door closed behind him, all eight of us released a long breath.

"Get ready babies, we're going out tonight." I announced.

"Where are we going?" Trevor asks excited.

"We might wanna check out a club tonight."
